Mission Against Dongfang Mao

After Dongfang Mao's victories alarm the Land of Fire, Hiruzen assigns Minato to eliminate him. 48 Minato enters Tsukimiura with Obito, Rin, and Kakashi, investigates conflicting rumors, and tracks a possible source of accurate information. 50

He later infiltrates Dongfang Mao's prisoner camp disguised as a captive and launches an assassination attempt with the Rasengan. Dongfang Mao survives, identifies him, and uses the surrounding prisoners as leverage. 55

Obito, Rin, and Kakashi disobey Minato's instructions and enter the camp to help him.
