Chapter 51: Nuwa's Sensing
Once their flight lights reached the borders of Kunlun, it was time to part ways.
Nuwa and Fuxi were returning to their dwelling cave, while Taiyi and Di Jun were heading straight back to the Sun Star. The four stopped upon the clouds in midair and exchanged a few pleasantries—things like "Until we meet again" and "Do visit often."
But just as Taiyi turned around, preparing to raise his flight light and leave—

Warning bells blared in Taiyi's heart.
Discuss in private? Discuss what? He had no real friendship with Nuwa. They had merely traveled together on this journey to hear the Dao and exchanged a few idle remarks about Saint positions and transcendence. Given Nuwa's current status—having obtained a Saint position and being a future Saint beyond doubt—why would she suddenly want to "discuss matters in private" with him?
Yet outwardly, he could only smile and reply, "Since Fellow Daoist Nuwa has invited me, I naturally must accept. Once I have settled things, I will surely come and impose upon you."
His answer was flawless. He had agreed, but
