Lin Yuan, a modern office worker, transmigrated into Eastern Emperor Taiyi’s body shortly before the Witch-Demon Calamity. His consciousness fused with Taiyi’s memories and instincts, creating a new identity that carries both Lin Yuan’s caution and the Eastern Emperor’s pride. 1

The original Taiyi was an Innate Deity born from the Sun Star, Di Jun’s younger brother, the holder of the Chaos Bell, and a leading figure in the Demon Race’s Heavenly Court. Through inherited memories, the new Taiyi learns that the Demon Race is heading toward a predetermined destruction in the coming Calamity. 1 2

The Forbidden Sign-In System activates after his awakening. It rewards him for disrupting predetermined events, but excessive deviation risks drawing the Heavenly Dao’s attention. Taiyi therefore adopts the original Eastern Emperor’s arrogant, aggressive persona as both camouflage and a means of openly challenging fate. 1 3

As Taiyi’s identity compatibility rises, he regains increasingly vivid fragments of the original Eastern Emperor’s memories, including his childhood connection with Di Jiang. At seventy-one percent compatibility, the System unlocks the ability to actively view partial memory fragments. 17
