Journey to Zixiao Palace

Nuwa travels with Fuxi, Di Jun, and Taiyi through the chaos beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens. She protects the group with a projection of the Mountain and River Diagram, directing chaotic currents away through yielding rather than direct resistance. Her methods consistently harmonize with heaven-and-earth rhythms while minimizing expenditure. 38

At Zixiao Palace, the surrounding Dao Rhyme resonates with her own laws, and illusory green lotuses of Creation condense around her. She later confirms that she received one of the six Saint positions established by Hongjun. 39 50

Interest in Taiyi's Anomaly

Nuwa detects unusual tribulation-and-destiny fluctuations around Taiyi and privately summons him to her Kunlun dwelling. As one who governs Creation, she is exceptionally sensitive to the aura of living beings and special spiritual traces. She warns him that Qi of Tribulation and Destiny can taint karma, disturb fate, and trap its user in calamity. 51

Despite her caution, Nuwa recognizes Taiyi as a possible variable within the Great Wilderness. She gives him an Azure Scale Talisman made from her own Creation origin, explaining that it is meant to preserve more possibilities through coming upheavals. 60

Creation of Humanity and Sainthood

At Shouyang Mountain, Nuwa seeks to fill a flaw in heaven and earth through creation. Her initial clay figure, shaped from Five-Colored Soil and Heavenly River True Water, possesses a complete body but cannot live. 85 86

She senses within Taiyi a spiritual essence linked to civilization, inheritance, ethics, and communal life—qualities the Great Wilderness had not previously possessed. Nuwa asks him to lend a wisp of spiritual light; the resulting Humanity's First Flame allows her breath of Creation to animate the first human. 86 87

The first human calls her “Holy Mother,” triggering a descent of merit that establishes Nuwa as the first Saint since the opening of heaven and earth. She creates further humans and declares that, while she cannot directly interfere in the Witch-Demon Calamity, the Dao of Creation will leave behind a thread of life. 87

Nuwa silently permits Taiyi's incarnation to teach the vulnerable Human Race a basic cultivation method, observing without interfering. 89
