Background / History

Fugaku belongs to the Uchiha clan head lineage and is Uchiha Fucheng’s older brother by two years. Although he was expected to inherit the clan head position, the office was kept vacant while the Great Elder’s faction and other hawkish clansmen opposed his succession. His family line had also suffered politically after remaining neutral during Uchiha Setsuna’s failed attempt to assassinate Tobirama. 1 9
