Background / History

Li Fucheng was a wealthy small-county entrepreneur who owned coal mines, a coal-washing plant, a hotel, and numerous storefronts. He died after being electrocuted by illegal electric fishers, then reincarnated into the wounded body of Uchiha Fucheng on a battlefield. 1

After awakening in Fucheng’s body, he learned that Fugaku was his older brother and resolved not to allow Fugaku’s indecision to determine the Uchiha clan’s future. He also discovered the Approval Rating system, which converts approval, admiration, expectation, and affection into points; changing the destinies of important people grants Fate Dice whose rolls can award lifespan, items, physical enhancements, skills, bloodlines, or cross-world rewards. 1

Fucheng’s first major interventions included warning Konoha forces about an explosive-tag trap, changing Nawaki’s fate, and rescuing Mikoto’s team from Sand ninja. Mikoto became his first marked follower, and her subsequent binding altered the fate trajectories of Mikoto, Itachi, and Sasuke. 1 2 3 6

During the Sand campaign, he repeatedly used deception, genjutsu, Fire Release, clones, and his summons to protect Mikoto, Hezi, and Jiangyi. He survived Gari’s self-detonation by making the Explosion Release user target a Multi-Shadow Clone rather than his real body. 5 6 8

Fugaku’s attempt to shield him from a poisoned puppet blast triggered Fucheng’s Mangekyo Sharingan. Fucheng used its healing power to save Fugaku, then used his new strength to unify the Uchiha jōnin, expose Root spies, and become the clan’s official head. 11 14 15 19

Fucheng is a young Uchiha with a spiked hairstyle and facial features similar to Fugaku’s, though he lacks Fugaku’s pronounced tear troughs and nasolabial folds. 8 29

He is protective and generous toward people he accepts as his own. He saves his squad, assists Hatake Sakumo without demanding repayment, seeks care for Fugaku, supports Nonō when she is mistreated, and limits Uchiha casualties by challenging unfair conscription demands. 6 12 21 22 32 34

Conversely, Fucheng is ruthless toward enemies and threats to the Uchiha. He orders the execution and cremation of captured Root operatives, uses fear to extract intelligence, and kills opponents who harm his subordinates or refuse surrender. 15 39 48
