Snow Empress finds Xue Bingchen in the Far North and names him after herself, the Ice Empress, and the mortal world. Snow Empress and Ice Empress raise him as their child, with Snow Empress becoming “Mother” and Ice Empress becoming “Auntie Ice Empress.” 3 4

His adoptive mothers use Millennium Ice Marrow Milk, rare Far North treasures, and Snow Empress's origin power to temper his meridians, bones, and constitution from infancy. This foundation lets him assimilate extreme cold and heavenly treasures that ordinary humans could not endure. 3 7

At age three, watching Snow Empress perform the Dance of the Heavenly Snow Woman triggers an epiphany concerning the laws of Ultimate Ice. The resulting mental overload causes him to faint, while also beginning the return of sealed memories from another life. 5 7
