Background

Qian Renyou emerged from Qian Renxue’s unique soul. Chen Qingxuan explains that Qian Renxue’s soul naturally contained two opposing but interdependent forces, which developed into two relatively independent individuals sharing one body and a common consciousness. He names the silver-haired second soul Qian Renyou, while confirming Qian Renxue as the elder sister due to having been born first. 7

Initially unable to control the body freely, Qian Renyou is promised that she may go outside once her soul power exceeds Qian Renxue’s. She responds by immediately devoting herself to soul nourishment cultivation, determined to surpass her sister. 8

Qian Renyou and Qian Renxue later divide their responsibilities for six months: Renyou cultivates their shared body and soul power, while Renxue studies alchemy, forging, and other crafts in Chen Qingxuan’s simulated learning space. 59

Following the Heaven and Earth Creation Furnace’s reshaping of their shared body, Qian Renyou and Qian Renxue become more clearly differentiated within the Sea of Consciousness while retaining their common physical vessel. The transformed body develops into a Primordial Body, substantially improving the power, resilience, energy reserves, and longevity available to both souls. 97 98

After Qian Renxue resumes control at the founding of Spirit Hall, Renyou is temporarily weakened. She later returns to public activity as the Hundred Treasures Pavilion’s master and continues to alternate control of the shared body. 183 196 279

During the later confrontation with an alternate-spacetime Qian Renxue, Renyou clarifies that she originates from another timeline. In her native spacetime, she and that world’s Qian Renxue are independent souls sharing a single body, with their essence originating from the same source. Her shared-body existence is subsequently exposed before Bo Saixi and the Shrek group on Sea God Island. Although the spectators initially interpret the transformation as proof that Renyou and Renxue are simply the same person, Qian Daoliu explicitly explains that they are two souls occupying one body. 345 346

In a later era, Renyou rescues a Qian Renxue whose Angel Godhood has been shattered. Despite this frivolous side, Renyou can be stern, disciplined, and commanding as an instructor. Following their battle, Renyou agrees to teach Qian Renxue her spear techniques. When Qian Renxue removes Renyou’s mask and discovers their nearly identical faces, Renyou brings her into the Primordial Yellow Pagoda. 284

Within the pagoda, Renyou reveals that she originates from another spacetime, where she exists as an independent soul sharing one body with another Qian Renxue. She explains that timelines divide at pivotal choices and that their shared origin does not erase their separate identities. 284 285

After tiring of the explanation, she relinquishes control so that her native Qian Renxue can speak directly with the alternate-spacetime counterpart. The body’s hair turns fully golden and its dark, chaotic aura becomes sacred, visibly demonstrating their exchange of control. 285

Sea God Island Intervention

Renyou intervenes when Bo Saixi attempts to suppress Li Taibai, Ling Feng, Ye Fan, Qian Lingxi, and Qian Chongyun with demigod-level soul power. She identifies herself as Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter, manifests a colossal Twelve-Winged Fallen Angel phantom, and demands that Bo Saixi allow the group to undergo the Sea God’s divine trials. 317

Later, Poseidon launches Twilight of the Gods against her through an indirect divine attack. Renyou enters a light-and-dark transformed state, destroys the divine halberd projection with a single sword strike, refines its residual divine power through Annihilation Power, and compels Bo Saixi to immediately begin the combined first and second Sea God examinations. 333

Renyou subsequently persuades Qian Daoliu to let her continue enjoying her travels, receiving a promise that he will take her to the Angel Legion’s base. The shared body then changes into Qian Renxue’s golden-haired, sacred form before the assembled spectators. The revelation distracts the Seven Sacred Pillar Douluos, allowing Li Taibai to knock all seven from the stage and claim victory. 345

The Shrek group interprets the transformation as proof that the mysterious Renyou and Qian Renxue have occupied the same body all along. Rescue of the Fallen Angel God

In a later era, Renyou intervenes on behalf of a mortally injured Qian Renxue whose Angel Godhood has been shattered. Her mysterious power heals and strengthens Qian Renxue’s body, but the rescued woman is left without her former cultivation, Martial Soul, Godhood, armor, or divine artifacts. 372

Renyou invokes her connection to the Angel Lineage, claiming that she fought alongside the first Angel God twenty thousand years earlier. She manifests her Twelve-Winged Fallen Angel phantom, offers to help restore Qian Renxue’s cultivation, and invites her to use the affectionate address “Sister Youyou.” Qian Renxue accepts and leaves with her. 372

As the rescued Qian Renxue begins cultivating anew, Renyou is surprised by her rapid progress. Chen Qingxuan explains that the woman’s already-tempered body lets her bypass an early stage, whereas Renyou’s own cultivation method favors slower, deeper development. He also reveals that the Primordial Yellow Pagoda has been attuned to the era so that its concealment hides the travelers from the Heavenly Dao, prompting Renyou to joke about how easily it has been deceived. 372

Rebuilding and Training in the Primordial Yellow Pagoda

Renyou watches Qian Renxue rebuild her body, Angel Martial Soul, and soul rings through her retained divine origin. Eager to imitate independent soul-ring creation, she asks Chen Qingxuan to teach her to condense her tenth ring, but he explains that she will naturally acquire the ability after reaching Level 100. 373

She becomes anxious that Qian Renxue’s rapid rebuilding might continue all the way to godhood. Chen Qingxuan calculates that the available reserves will only support advancement to Soul Saint, and Gu Yuena reassures Renyou of her unmatched strength among equal-level opponents. 373

After three years of cultivation within the pagoda, the rescued Qian Renxue emerges as a Level 76 Soul Saint with seven soul rings. Renyou deliberately matches her level in a fierce sparring session, helping her adapt to a foundation and combat strength far greater than those of her former Soul Saint state. Afterward, Renyou asks Chen Qingxuan for roast meat, shares it with Qian Renxue and Gu Yuena, and playfully warns Qian Renxue to eat before Gu Yuena consumes the food. 374

Heaven Dou Ambush and Imperial Family Confrontation

Renyou accompanies the rebuilt Qian Renxue into a Heaven Dou ambush. The two cut through thousands of troops without suffering wounds as they approach Xue Beng’s carriage. Xue Beng orders hidden experts to attack and summons further forces, believing that capturing Qian Renxue will secure the Angel bloodline for his royal family. 385

When Xue Beng also directs lecherous attention toward Renyou, she reacts with disgust and activates hundreds of concealed Formation Flags. Their barrier seals the battlefield while Heaven Dou’s forces continue assembling, including three Titled Douluos, eighteen Soul Douluos, numerous other Soul Masters, and thousands of soldiers. 385

Renyou then remains leisurely at the battlefield’s edge rather than joining Qian Renxue’s engagement with the three Titled Douluos. 386

Later, she stands beside Qian Renxue before the kneeling imperial family, observing Xue Beng’s consorts, twenty-two children, and younger sister Xue Ke. When Xue Ke’s familiar address of “Imperial Brother” briefly stirs Qian Renxue’s memories of her undercover years, Renyou notices the change and asks whether she wishes to spare the princess. 391
