Background / History

The Immortal Realm was once ruled by the Ancient Heavenly Court, whose strongest figure, the Heavenly Emperor, attained the Immortal Emperor Dao through the Chaos Great Dao. The Heavenly Court was the supreme power of its era, and the Heavenly Emperor commanded thirty-three Immortal Emperors beneath him. 857

In the ancient War of Fallen Emperors, dozens of Immortal Emperors fought on a scale that shattered heaven and earth. The cause of the war has been lost to history, but its aftermath destroyed much of the Immortal Realm, damaged the origin of the Great Dao, and caused chaos qi to flood the gaps between its surviving fragments. 860

Those fragments became the present Thirty-Three Heavens. The chaos storms between them isolate the Heaven Domains and make travel exceptionally dangerous. The damaged Great Dao origin has also made new Immortal Emperors far rarer than in the ancient era. 860

The Immortal Realm consists of thirty-three vast Heaven Domains connected by supreme laws. Each has distinct Great Dao laws, races, and dominant powers. 748

• Great Qian Immortal Kingdom — Located in eastern Supreme Emperor Heaven and subordinated to the Primordial Unity Immortal Sect. Its ruler is a peak Golden Immortal, while Qian Heaven City is protected by a grand formation. 646
• Great Evolution Immortal Court — One of Great Luo Heaven's Four Great Immortal Courts. It inherited part of the Ancient Heavenly Court's foundation and is overseen by a half-step Immortal Emperor ancestor. 856

Ascension

Ascension Pool

Ascenders arrive in an Ascension Pool, where milky-white water containing highly concentrated Immortal Dao origin transforms their bodies, immortal power, and Primordial Spirits. Each drop is stated to be a hundred times purer than immortal stones. 616

The pool is also used by the Great Qian Immortal Kingdom to identify exceptional ascenders. Remaining in it for twelve hours is rare and can raise an ascender to the middle or even late True Immortal stage. 616

Great Qian Ascender Terms

Upon arriving in the eastern region of Supreme Emperor Heaven, ascenders automatically become citizens of the Great Qian Immortal Kingdom and must choose a term of service. 617
