Danzo's Secret Order

The several hidden ninjas stopped hiding.✊💚  ඏ☆

The three of them leaped out and attacked. They were members of Konoha's Anbu.

The Silver Moon Wolf charged over and bit one of them on the arm, knocking him aside.

The other two exchanged a glance.

"Take out that Sound Ninja kid first. It'll be a problem if he keeps summoning."

"Hold on a little longer. We'll kill the Sound Ninja kid and come help you. That beast won't be a threat then."

With that, they abandoned their bitten teammate and charged straight at Feng Yao.

One of them bit his finger, formed Hand Seals, and quickly sank into the ground.

"Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique."

Two hands suddenly shot out from beneath Feng Yao, grabbed his ankle, and dragged him underground, leaving only his head above the surface.

This was the same technique Kakashi had once used on Sasuke. Its main purpose was to immobilize an enemy.

"Success!"

The other Anbu Ninja was delighted. He drew his Ninja Blade and leaped toward Feng Yao, seemingly intent on killing him outright.

Just as the blade was about to pierce Feng Yao's head,

Feng Yao's lips moved slightly.

"Flying Thunder God Technique."

Whoosh!

Feng Yao's body suddenly disappeared, leaving behind only an empty hole in the ground.

"What happened?!"

The ninja who had used Earth Release emerged from underground. The moment he came out, Feng Yao appeared again without warning.

The specially made Kunai in his hand swept straight toward the man's throat.

It was far too fast.

Blood sprayed from his neck. The ninja backed away in disbelief, clutching his throat with both hands as if he could stop the blood from pouring out.

He hadn't expected to die at the hands of a Genin from Sound Village.

When he had grabbed Feng Yao's ankle just moments earlier, Feng Yao had planted the Flying Thunder God Formula on him.

The Silver Moon Wolf had already killed another Anbu Ninja. Seeing what had happened, the last one knew he was as good as dead, so he charged straight at Feng Yao.

He was a ninja. He couldn't forget his mission or run away alone. He had to complete his duty.

Feng Yao threw a Kunai. His opponent dodged low and kept coming.

"Flying Thunder God: Second Stage!"

Whoosh!

Feng Yao had already used the Kunai marked with the Flying Thunder God Formula to appear behind his opponent.

A heavy punch sent the man flying. The Anbu member rolled several times before stopping, but he still struggled back to his feet and tried to fight Feng Yao. Feng Yao threw several Kunai, pinning him to a tree and leaving him unable to move.

Feng Yao walked over and grabbed the man by the throat.

"Tell me, what exactly is Konoha planning with this Chunin Ninja Exam? And where is that Anbu ninja named Tankyu?"

As he questioned the ninja, Feng Yao tightened his grip.

The man's face turned red, but he continued glaring at Feng Yao with hatred, refusing to say a word.

"How troublesome. But even if you don't tell me, I can more or less guess. First, you reduced the number of ninjas from other countries in the first exam. Now, in this exam, you've even sent Anbu to kill the promising young ninjas of other countries. Danzo must be planning to start a war against them soon, right?"

The ninja still refused to say a word. But the way his pupils contracted told Feng Yao that his guess was right.

He hadn't expected that while the Land of Wind was planning to attack Konoha, Konoha was thinking along the same lines. Danzo's ambitions were clearly far greater, and his methods more ruthless. He had directly ordered people to infiltrate the exam and wipe out the next generation of other countries' ninja forces.

Feng Yao sneered inwardly, then asked another question.

"Is Tankyu responsible for killing ninjas from other countries during this second stage?"

Unfortunately, he didn't get the answer he wanted this time. The man's expression and muscles showed no change. Either he didn't know, or he truly wasn't involved in this operation.

Feng Yao tightened his grip and killed the Anbu Ninja.

Then he formed Hand Seals again to summon a creature.

"Summoning Technique: Katsuyu."

Feng Yao wanted to summon the Katsuyu Sage. White smoke burst into the air, and a slug as large as a house appeared in the clearing.

"Ah, Feng Yao, you finally remembered me. Where are we?"

Seeing the curious Katsuyu Sage, Feng Yao explained, "This is Konoha Ninja Village. I'd like you to split up and help me look for a few people, Lady Katsuyu."

With such a vast forest, Feng Yao couldn't search for them all by himself. What he needed now were summoning creatures suited for scouting and detection, and the Silver Moon Wolf and Katsuyu were both perfect for the job. Feng Yao told the two of them everything about the situation, along with the targets' builds and distinguishing features.

Katsuyu Sage immediately split apart and scattered in every direction, leaving one small piece beside Feng Yao.

"Ah, you're still the most comfortable to sit on. When are you coming to Shikkotsu Forest to spend time with me?"

The little Katsuyu hopped around on Feng Yao's head, complaining.

Feng Yao could only smile helplessly. He still had a mountain of things to do; he had no time for that. All he could do was placate her. "Soon, soon. Maybe in two, three, four, or five months."

The little Katsuyu started bouncing even more frequently on Feng Yao's head at that perfunctory answer.

Not long afterward, Katsuyu sent back the first report.

"Three teams have already been attacked. I haven't seen the person you're looking for yet. Oh, one Grass Ninja team actually managed to kill their attackers."

From the Katsuyu Sage's surprised tone, he knew that person was most likely Orochimaru.

The only ones here capable of taking down Anbu elites were Gaara's team, his own team, and Orochimaru's team—all squads that weren't from Konoha.

"I found one of the people you're looking for. There are three of them in the west."

Feng Yao smiled when he heard that, then immediately sprinted west. He was fast, and it didn't take long for him to find his target.

"Damn, they're all like monsters. Forget stealing someone else's scroll; even keeping our own is incredibly difficult."

"We're carrying our village's hopes, too. We can't go back in such a sorry state. Let's track them again."

The three Grass Ninjas before him were two men and a woman.

The girl had a striking head of red hair. She wore a mesh ninja top and black thigh-high stockings, and her body bore several bite marks.

This girl was Karin, Feng Yao's other target. Her ability was one of the most outrageous in all of Naruto.

Biting her skin could restore chakra and heal injuries.

What's more, she felt no particular attachment to Kusagakure. Her strength was poor for now, but with a little training, she could certainly become one of the great generals among the Immortals in the future.

Feng Yao had arrived at just the right time. The two Grass Ninjas were preparing to leave.

"I need...to find somewhere to hide."

Karin clutched the Earth Scroll. Her eyes were panicked as she slowly got back to her feet.

Roar!

Just then, a huge brown bear appeared behind Karin and roared at her before charging after her. Karin stumbled and fell to the ground.

Feng Yao knew his chance had come.

He threw the three-pronged Flying Thunder God Kunai in his hand and used the second stage to teleport in front of Karin.

Seeing someone block its path only enraged the giant bear further. It raised a paw to strike.

"Iron Body!"

The bear's paw came down, but Feng Yao didn't budge. The giant bear's eyes seemed to widen in surprise.

Feng Yao concentrated Iron Body in both hands and punched the bear in the stomach. The powerful impact made its back cave inward. The giant bear howled and was sent flying beneath a large tree, shaking countless leaves loose.

Karin saw that someone had saved her, but she couldn't see clearly. She only felt that the other person's presence was so warm, and the fear in her heart faded away.

Feng Yao walked over, picked up Karin's glasses, and gently put them on her.

"You're safe now. Are you hurt?"

Karin could vaguely make out the figure of a man wrapped in bandages. She was a little startled, but quickly calmed down. She didn't know why she felt so safe around him.

Feng Yao glanced at Karin, then unwound the bandages around his face.

He said apologetically, "Did my appearance scare you? My name is Dosu. What's yours?"

Feng Yao didn't tell Karin his real name. Unlike Gaara, she wasn't strong enough to protect herself.

The man before her not only made her feel calm and comfortable, but was also incredibly handsome. Karin's cheeks instantly flushed red.

His face seemed almost too beautiful to look at for long, as if doing so would be an insult to something lovely. Karin lowered her head again.

In a voice as small as a mosquito's, she said, "I...I'm fine...thank you."

"Success."

He wasn't in a hurry to recruit Karin yet. She wasn't strong enough. For now, he only needed to plant a seed in her heart.

Feng Yao took out a three-pronged Kunai marked with the Flying Thunder God Formula and handed it to Karin.

"If you run into danger, use this to protect yourself."

Then he gently stroked Karin's red hair before leaving with the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Karin remained rooted in place for a long time before finally coming to her senses. She lowered her head, looked at the Kunai, and gently pressed it against her chest.
