Sasuke initially serves on Team Kakashi during the Land of Waves mission. He reacts quickly to Zabuza's opening attack and follows Kakashi's orders to protect Tazuna alongside Naruto and Sakura. Witnessing Naruto's Nine-Tails chakra and Feng Yao's overwhelming Sage Arts intensifies his jealousy, longing for strength, and desire for revenge. 7

After training under Kakashi, Sasuke becomes less consumed by revenge and more attached to Konoha and his comrades. When Feng Yao attempts to seize his Sharingan, Sasuke declares that he will make Itachi answer for his actions, but accepts Kakashi's reminder that he does not have to bear that burden alone. 92
