The one who had suddenly appeared and blocked Sengoku's attack was none other than Whitebeard, who had somehow already broken through the encircling walls and made it here!

With a single punch, Whitebeard directly blocked Sengoku's attack, despite being grievously wounded. His strength was truly astonishing.

Just as Chen Qiang controlled Oars to turn and look at Whitebeard, who had blocked the attack, Aokiji had already leaped onto Oars and launched an attack at Chen Qiang and Ace atop Oars's head.

Chen Qiang reacted as soon as Aokiji attacked. He controlled Oars, who had just turned around, to turn once more. As Oars spun, the spectral image of a gigantic blood-red tiger appeared around his body. The tiger opened its enormous jaws and swallowed the ice Aokiji had fired at them.

At the same time, the Butcher Knife in Oars's hand kept moving, slashing toward Aokiji. The tiger's image that had just appeared also broke free of Oars's body and struck Aokiji along with the Butcher Knife.

Just as Oars swung at Aokiji once more, a fierce yellow light flared from the other side. A dense barrage of tiny flashes raced toward Oars's upper body. Kizaru, one of the Three Admirals, had joined the fight.

Oars didn't react in time. Blood sprayed from his body as the flashes punched hole after hole through him. But the blood that spurted out quickly formed a Blood Barrier in front of him, blocking the rest of the barrage.

Although most of the attack had been blocked, Chen Qiang, who had been controlling Oars, suddenly turned deathly pale. The blood in his body had been drained in an instant.

As Chen Qiang's face blanched, the red glow in Oars's eyes faded too. With a BOOM, he collapsed to the ground.

Oars's fall was what alerted Whitebeard to what was happening behind him. He stepped in and blocked Kizaru and Aokiji's next attacks.

But that moment of distraction gave Akainu, who had been battling him all along, an opening to launch a sneak attack. He punched Whitebeard square in the chest.

Pfft! Akainu's punch went straight through Whitebeard's chest!

Whitebeard spun and punched Akainu away. A huge mouthful of blood spilled from his lips; clearly, the attack had only worsened his injuries.

Seeing Whitebeard wounded, the Whitebeard Pirates crew members around him rushed over in alarm.

"Ace!"

Just then, Luffy, covered in injuries, made it onto Oars and reached Ace. His face lit up with joy as he threw his arms around Ace, tears streaming down his cheeks.

Fortunately, Luffy had just managed to free Ace's hands. As the flashes reached them, Ace planted his feet, raised both hands to his waist, and unleashed a massive burst of flames that blocked them.

"Don't be so sure of yourself. That blow of yours wasn't enough to kill me!" After scolding Squard, Whitebeard turned toward the battlefield and spoke in a low voice. Clearly, he had forgiven Squard for what he had done.

"Our objective has been achieved! There's nothing left for us here! Listen up, Whitebeard Pirates. I'm giving my final order as your captain. This is where we part ways. Every one of you must make it safely back to the New World. I'm a remnant of the old era. The New Age has no ship big enough to carry me!"
