The Holy Spirit Cult’s assault devastated Shrek Academy, but Gu Yuan defeated the attackers and was named the academy’s future leader. As he gathered allies and pursued his own plans, Ma Hongjun took control of the cult and prepared to infiltrate Shrek.

• Ye Xishui and Zhongli Wu led the Holy Spirit Cult’s forces in an attack on Shrek, killing Qian Duoduo and Yan Shaozhe and gravely wounding Xian Lin'er.
• Gu Yuan used Descent of the Ice God to freeze the attackers, killing Ye Xishui and forcing Zhongli Wu to flee, while the Ice Dragon King gave Ye Xishui’s Soul Bones to Gu Yuan.
• Ma Hongjun killed and devoured Zhongli Wu, evolved into a Dark Phoenix, and later defeated Long Xiaoyao before Long Xiaoyao spared him and agreed to restrain the cult.
• Di Tian captured Mu En, and Zhang Lexuan killed him for murdering her family before she and Gu Yuan returned to Shrek with his Soul Bones.
• Gu Yuan returned to the academy, where Xuanzi named him heir to the Sea God Pavilion Master position, and Gu Yuan vowed to strengthen Shrek and eradicate Evil Soul Masters.
• Dai Mubai and Oscar reunited, decided Huo Yuhao was not the Child of Destiny, and pledged to follow Gu Yuan, while Gu Yuan pursued relationships with Wang Dong'er and Xiao Xiao.
• The God Kings discovered Oscar dead beneath a poisonous mist and confined Ning Tian in the Nine-Colored Divine Hall while they investigated his death.
• Ma Hongjun became the Holy Spirit Cult’s leader, killed Mourning Moon Douluo, reorganized the cult, and planned to send an undercover agent to Shrek as Gu Yuan settled into his new role.

Gu Yuan gained powerful resources and gathered allies while Tang San’s schemes caused deaths, births, and body swaps across the mortal and divine realms. The arc left Gu Yuan promising to rescue Zhu Zhuqing and distributing Immortal Herbs to his companions.

• Gu Yuan refused Xuanzi’s scheme involving Han Ruoruo, then froze Ma Xiaotao and left Shrek as he prepared to depart.
• Gu Yuan exchanged remnant souls for the Holy Spirit Cult’s resources, learned its pills were made through mass slaughter, and began absorbing a powerful dragon Soul Bone.
• Ma Hongjun seized control of the Holy Spirit Cult, devoured several Douluos, and accepted Crow Douluo’s plan to provoke a war for alchemy materials.
• Gu Yuan welcomed Zhang Lexuan and the other girls, strengthened Zhang Lexuan’s Soul Rings, accepted Oscar as his disciple, and took Dai Mubai as his adoptive son.
• Tang San gave birth to Tang Wuluan and ordered Beibei to claim the child was adopted, while Gu Yuan arranged for Tang San’s unborn daughter’s soul to be transferred to Ma Xiaotao.
• The God Kings discovered Dai Mubai’s poisoned remains as Zhu Lu and Zhu Zhuqing exchanged bodies, and Ning Tian later woke in Ning Rongrong’s body with knowledge of the God Realm.
• Zhu Zhuqing summoned the Duke of Nether, empowered him to become a Title Douluo, and asked him to bring Zhu Lu and Gu Yuan to her.
• Zhu Zhuqing reunited with Gu Yuan, gave him Immortal Herbs and the Universe Creation Pill recipe, and asked him to rescue her before Gu Yuan returned with Zhu Lu and distributed more herbs.

Gu Yuan strengthened his allies, tied his fate to the Silver Dragon King and Yan Lingji, and exposed Tang San’s cruelty as old relationships collapsed. He returned to Shrek Academy and took charge of the teams, leaving Huo Yuhao caught between Gu Yuan’s rejection of Yu Gang and his own loyalty to his teacher.

• Ning Rongrong revealed her past with Tang San and warned Gu Yuan that he planned to use Tang Wutong’s divided soul to enslave him, while Gu Yuan recognized her identity and gave Oscar a Rootless Flower.
• Gu Yuan linked his fate with the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, named her Yan Lingji and the Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena, then led the women in defeating Tang San and read her memories with Electrolux.
• Gu Yuan helped Huo Yuhao obtain a thousand-year Datura Snake soul ring, but Huo Yuhao later learned that Yu Gang’s soul was being tormented in his Spirit Sea.
• Tang San attacked Xiao Wu and Xu Sanshi after discovering their relationship, gravely injured Xu Sanshi, and drove Xiao Wu to ask Gu Yuan for help.
• Gu Yuan traveled to the Far North, where Su Tong gained a life-bound soul ring and Zhang Lexuan received the One-Horned Ice Dragon Python as a soul spirit, reaching Super Douluo rank.
• Gu Yuan returned to Shrek as Huo Yuhao secured a reserve-team place, then protected the students during the Martial Soul Fusion Skill clash and took charge of the academy’s Seven Devils and reserve team.
• Gu Yuan overwhelmed the fourteen students in a group battle, refused Yu Gang’s offer to take him as a disciple, and challenged Yu Gang to make Huo Yuhao a god.
• Gu Yuan trained the teams for a month and gave Wu Feng a fire cultivation technique while teaching Xiao Xiao and Wang Dong’er the complete Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record.

Gu Yuan survived the Holy Spirit Cult’s ambush, entered the Sun Moon Empire’s political and military struggles, and strengthened his powers while the empire devastated the other kingdoms. He returned to Shrek Academy and began organizing a new order for Soul Masters, while Xiao Wu offered herself and divine treasures in exchange for marriage.

• Gu Yuan reached Star Luo City with the Shrek team, where Dai Hao submitted to him, and Huo Yuhao fled before returning after swearing revenge on Dai Hao, the Dai family, and Gu Yuan.
• Gu Yuan killed most of the Holy Spirit Cult attackers who ambushed him, learned that Tang Ya had joined the cult under Ma Hongjun, and concealed his own role in Lin Huiqun’s death.
• Tang San accepted the Holy Spirit Cult’s offer and left for its headquarters, while Ma Hongjun began remaking her body and Xu Tianran prepared to wage war against the three kingdoms.
• Gu Yuan traveled to the Sun Moon Empire with Shrek exchange students, agreed to Ju Zi’s request for a child, and later helped Zhang Lexuan handle Kong Deming’s attempt to recruit her as a spy.
• Gu Yuan accepted Zi Ji as his seventh Soul Ring, gained her Water Dragon Domain and Ice Dragon World-Ending skill, and condensed his Ultimate Ice Soul Core as Xu Tianran’s invasion began.
• Gu Yuan obtained the Fire Dragon King as his second martial soul and reached Rank 80, while the Sun Moon Empire and Holy Spirit Cult crushed the White Tiger Legion and devastated the neighboring kingdoms.
