Seeing the three rings of light circling Lan Si, Xiao Wu wasn't the only one taken aback. Even Tang San was startled. He had advanced to Soul Elder three months ago, and after absorbing a Soul Ring beyond its usual limit and then cultivating bitterly for more than three months, he had only just managed to break through to level thirty-two.
Yet Lan Si was already at level thirty-three. Didn't that mean he had become a Soul Elder even earlier than Tang San and Xiao Wu?

"This Soul Power fluctuation really is at level thirty-three." Feeling the Soul Power radiating from Lan Si, Flender nodded repeatedly, undisguised approval flashing through his eyes. He walked up to Lan Si and instinctively began his usual sales pitch. "Your name is Lan Si, right? You have excellent talent. I'm Flender, the dean of Shrek Academy. Would you be interested in joining Shrek Academy?"
As he spoke, Flender began bragging about Shrek Academy.
Everyone else there, including Lan Si, was left with black lines across their foreheads.
"Dean Flender, let me interrupt you for a moment." Lan Si raised his right hand.
"What is it? You've agreed to join?" Flender asked with a beaming smile.
Lan Si shook his head. "No. I came here to visit my girlfriend, Zhu Zhuqing. Besides, I already have an academy."
At that, everyone shifted their attention back to the relationship between Lan Si and Zhu Zhuqing.
"Hey, A-Si, when did you and Zhuqing get together?" Xiao Wu walked over.
