Background / History

Qian Renxue is the daughter of Martial Soul Hall's former Pope and the granddaughter of Great Elder Qian Daoliu. She inherited the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul and the Angel Set, a set of six 99,999-year inherited soul bones usable only by a sufficiently gifted Six-Winged Angel wielder 128.

While still young, she entered the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace and spent more than a decade infiltrating the empire under the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. The prolonged deception deprived her of a normal childhood and youth; hunting soul rings was one of the few occasions when she could live without maintaining her false identity 32.

She first encounters Lan Si while absorbing her sixth soul ring in the Star Dou Great Forest. Although angered that he approached during the absorption, she learns he had pursued and killed the Soul-Eater Demon Spider, then guarded her against nearby soul beasts.
