Background / History

Tang San awakened his martial soul at the same age as Qin Heng, before traveling to Notting City or obtaining his first soul ring. Qin Heng deliberately left him under Yu Xiaogang's guidance, believing that Xiaogang's methods would hinder rather than accelerate Tang San's development 8.

As Yu Xiaogang's disciple, Tang San gained his first soul skill after his Blue Silver Grass absorbed a Datura Snake over 400 years old. Blue Silver Entanglement could poison even a Soul Grandmaster once its vines bound the target 33. Tang San remained fiercely loyal to Xiaogang when Martial Soul Hall exposed and discredited him, resolving to seek justice from Martial Soul Hall once he became strong enough 35.

Tang San received Qin Heng's Meridian Cultivation Method Basic General Edition from Yu Xiaogang. He recognized it as comparable to his own Mysterious Heaven Skill, though it lacked the latter's cultivation of the Eight Extraordinary Meridians. Future Legacy

Ten thousand years later, Tang San is known as the Sea God and the founder of the Tang Sect. He left books at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well containing alchemy, medicinal, body-tempering, and Tang Sect poison knowledge 47 99.

A fragment of his consciousness guarded the well and attempted to destroy Qin Heng's clone for trespassing. After the clone escaped, the consciousness established a divine formation that prevented ordinary powerful soul masters from entering the valley, then dissipated 48.
