Background / History

Illusion Body originated as one of the two active skills granted by Qin Heng's Illusion Pupil, an External Soul Bone obtained from the 12,000-year-old Ice Mist Frost Butterfly. It is formed from Qin Heng's soul power and spiritual power, but is tangible enough to touch objects and perform combat techniques. Initially, its most significant limitation was that only either Qin Heng or the clone could wear the single set of Asura Armor at a time. 26

Qin Heng recognized the clone's value as a separate identity that could travel, study soul beasts, and accumulate practical combat knowledge while his true body cultivated elsewhere. To operate it effectively, he deceived Ning Fengzhi into providing the Heart Separation Control technique. 30

Testing established that the clone could independently circulate the Pure Yang Infinite Skill, recover its own consumed energy, and retain itself indefinitely unless it suffered fatal damage. Its experiences, knowledge, and memories synchronize with Qin Heng immediately upon its disappearance. 30

The clone later became Qin Heng's public-facing identity in the Sun Moon Empire. Styled as Qian Huan, Qin Heng's grandfather and the Illusion Pupil Douluo, it presented itself as a level-97 spiritual-type Super Douluo and a descendant of Spirit Hall, allowing Qin Heng to gain the empire's trust and access its Soul Tool education. 88 91 92

The Illusion Body has no fixed appearance. As a construct of soul power and spiritual power, it can alter its height and features at will. 30

As Qian Huan, it presents itself as a lean man around fifty years old, with a thin face, frosted temples, deep sharp eyes, and the bearing of a Titled Douluo. 88
