Background / History
After ascending to the God Realm, Tang San left his parents in the lower realm as part of a long-running effort to bring the Douluo Plane under his family's control. Liu Feng's early comprehension of the laws of nature threatened those arrangements: it gave him the potential to become a god and could draw the attention of other gods. Tang San attempted to conceal the plane's heavenly secrets, but stopped when the Destruction God King arrived 11.
Tang San later appeared in Liu Feng's spiritual sea to rebuke him over the death of the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm. The appearance was an unsupported divine projection, which Liu Feng dispersed with arrows 17. Tang San subsequently strengthened the Snow Empress's heavenly tribulation, hoping to force her to recultivate in human form and steer the injured Ice Empress toward Huo Yuhao. Liu Feng's One Leaf Covers the Sky weakened the tribulation instead. The God of Destruction discovered Tang San's interference and took him away for punishment 47 48 51.
When Liu Feng began developing a way to contain and reuse soul rings, Xiao Wu persuaded Tang San to offer help without using divine power. The pair visited under disguised identities, with Tang San calling himself Yu San. He could not answer Liu Feng's questions about soul-ring composition or Soul Tool compatibility, and Shen Chong publicly challenged his claim to expertise. Tang San and Xiao Wu then concealed their projections as human powerhouses arrived in the forest 81 83 84 85.
Appearance
Tang San has long blue hair. In the God Realm, he wears blue robes and armor; his projection in Liu Feng's spiritual sea appears as a blue-haired man 11 17.
- Distinguishing feature — His blue-haired form also appears within Huo Yuhao's mental sea through the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm 96.
Personality
Tang San presents himself as an authority over the lower realm, rebuking Liu Feng and expecting deference. He is protective of his plans for the Douluo Plane and dismisses Liu Feng's soul-ring research before understanding it 11 17 81 83. Around the God of Destruction, whom he cannot defeat, he becomes cautious and tries to hide his interference. He also conceals his lack of answers about soul rings rather than admit it to Xiao Wu 11 49 83 84.

Interference with heavenly tribulations
- Uses his God King authority to trigger and strengthen the Snow Empress's tribulation, despite not governing tribulations himself 47 48.
- His intervention fails when Liu Feng reduces the tribulation's power, and it brings punishment from the God of Destruction 48 51.
