From Qin Xa's subjective perspective, closing his eyes did not mean there was only darkness before him. Everything was presented before him with astonishing clarity and immediacy.

There was no distance, no obstruction, no space.

As usual, when Qin Xa observed the world through Psychic Sight, everything was laid bare before him in the finest detail.

Even microscopic worlds visible only through expensive microscopes appeared before him with incomparable clarity.

Within Psychic Sight, Qin Xa felt more like a camera, or a viewer watching a film, rather than a living person whose eyes were constrained by a biological visual system.

I want to go outside and take a look.

The moment that thought surfaced in Qin Xa's mind, his perspective rose from the ground, effortlessly passing through the cave's gate and arriving in the corridor outside.

After moving another twenty-odd meters down the corridor, Qin Xa saw a thick fog.

This was the limit of how far he could roam after breaking free of his normal field of vision with Psychic Sight.

He could, of course, go farther, but what he saw through Psychic Sight would no longer be clear physical reality. Everything would be shrouded in dense fog, and he would be unable to see anything else.

For Qin Xa's next objective, twenty-odd meters was more than enough.

Like a patient predator, Qin Xa waited at the edge of his range.

Soon, a small patrol of Security Automata made its way down the corridor toward the cave.
