History

Rōran Mission

Minato first appears alongside Shibi Aburame and Choza Akimichi on a top-secret mission issued by the Third Hokage. Their objectives are to investigate Rōran’s Dragon Vein and deal with Mukade. Yue’s knowledge of the mission immediately raises their suspicions, leading to a confrontation 1.

Despite his superior speed, Minato fails to capture Yue. Yue first exploits a ruptured Dragon Vein conduit and sentry puppets, then escapes through a Shadow Clone during Naruto’s intervention. Minato takes responsibility for the unfamiliar blond teenager’s safety and subsequently exposes Yue’s deception to Yamato 2 3 6.

Mukade’s regeneration forces Minato, Naruto, and Yue into a temporary alliance. Yue exposes the energy core, and Minato and Naruto destroy it with Taiji Rasengan. As the space-time connection collapses, Yue identifies Minato as Naruto’s father and sabotages the memory-erasing seal. Nine-Tails Attack and Rescue
