Background

Huo Yuhao was born into the Duke White Tiger's household but lived in poverty and neglect. His mother died, he was estranged from his father and brothers, and revenge against the estate became his defining conviction. He possessed only level-one innate soul power and reached level ten at age eleven despite cultivating the Duke household's inheritance meditation technique. 4 15 50

Before entering Shrek Academy, he entered the Star Dou Great Forest alone despite his low cultivation. Tang Ya and Bei Bei interpreted his guarded conduct and willingness to endure danger as signs of a difficult past and deep resentment. 8

Tang Ya and Bei Bei helped him enroll at Shrek. As a level-11 special admission student, he was immediately exposed to the academy's hierarchy around talent, status, and soul power. His pride can become obsession. Provocation from Wang Dong and the stress of defeat drive him close to losing control, while Bei Bei recognizes that this temperament can harm both Huo Yuhao and those around him. 43 50

Despite this, he is not indifferent to others. He immediately calls for medical help when Bei Bei is injured protecting him, concedes when his teammates require treatment, and later chooses to avenge Shrek's fallen teachers and friends despite the Body Sect's support. 46 47 134
