Background / History
Tang San is a transmigrator from the Tang Sect who relies on memories from his previous life, Innate Full Soul Power, Twin Martial Souls, and cultivation through the Mysterious Heaven Skill. By the time he enters Shrek Academy, he considers himself unmatched among his peers and is known for suppressing other soul masters despite possessing Blue Silver Grass as a martial soul. 18
Upon hearing of the mysterious arena fighter Long Yuan, Tang San experiences an immediate urge to fight him. Confident that his cultivation and extensive techniques will secure victory, he challenges Long Yuan at the Suotuo City Great Soul Arena. 13 18
Long Yuan defeats Tang San despite Tang San's use of movement techniques, grappling arts, Parasite, and Entangle. Unable to accept the loss, Tang San launches poisoned hidden weapons at Long Yuan's back after the match, but is badly injured in the retaliation and loses consciousness. 19 20
In the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang San wins a contest against Meng Yiran for a Man Faced Demon Spider, but clashes again with Gu Linyuan over the creature. He attempts to settle ownership through a Soul Breaking Blade contest, then attacks when Gu Linyuan claims the spider's Eight Spider Lances, an External Soul Bone Tang San believed he was connected to. Gu Linyuan defeats and severely injures him again. 29 31 32 34
Tang San reunites with his father, Tang Hao, after learning that the Eight Spider Lances were taken. Tang Hao's arrival gives him a renewed sense of security, while the loss of the External Soul Bone deepens the Tang family's hostility toward Gu Linyuan. 88
After Gu Linyuan's continued dominance over the Shrek group, Tang San proposes that he be spared and given time to surpass him. He reveals his interest in combining Tang Sect hidden weapons with Soul Tool technology, having studied Zhu Zhuqing's claw gauntlets without permission. 95
Tang San later learns that Ah Yin is alive and with Gu Linyuan. Unable to openly acknowledge her because of his fear of Gu Linyuan and Martial Soul Hall, he is devastated when she fails to recognize him. 121 123
The Asura God chooses Tang San as a prospective counterweight to Gu Linyuan and later plans to cultivate him as a Rakshasa contender for the God King's position. 127 131
Following further cultivation, Tang San's Blue Silver Grass becomes Dark Blue Silver Grass, and he gains both the Divine Slaughter's Domain and Rakshasa Domain. Although he can now exert pressure comparable to a powerful Soul Ancestor, Gu Linyuan defeats him again. 165 167
After confronting the truth surrounding Ah Yin and Tang Hao's past, Tang San chooses to absorb the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone despite the emotional pain it causes him. He subsequently leaves Heaven Dou City with Tang Hao and resolves to return to the Capital of Slaughter to become stronger before seeking revenge on Gu Linyuan. 170 173 175
