Background / History

Ye Fan initially worried that his disappearance would cause his parents to die early from grief. Rather than immediately marry and have children, he accepted Chen Yu’s advice to guide his parents onto a cultivation path. Three years later, his parents had begun cultivating, freeing him to travel without that concern. He also chose not to bring his former classmates onto the Nine Dragons Pulling the Coffin, believing they would be safer on Earth. 8 18

After arriving in the Big Dipper region, Ye Fan intended to cultivate to the Divine Bridge or Other Shore before revealing himself, so that he would possess enough strength to protect himself if his physique were discovered. His Desolate Ancient Sacred Body later became the center of his cultivation path: advancing to Four Extremes would bring severe heavenly suppression and an Innate Dao Diagram seeking to erase him. 24 90
