Heavenly Emperor Academy

Yue Mingsong first appears as a member of the Heavenly Principles Society alongside Jin Quexi and Shi Hailiang. The group attempts to recruit Ning Xiaochuan during the Heavenly Emperor Academy assessment, but Ning declines to commit immediately. 114 115

He later accompanies Ning Xiaochuan into the Heavenly Emperor Tomb Forest. Though he contributes knowledge, tools, and artifact insight, he repeatedly distracts himself, gets injured, or requires Ning Xiaochuan’s protection during the expedition. 152 153 155

Divine Sword Palace

After Ning Xiaochuan begins building the Divine Sword Palace, Yue Mingsong offers to support the project alone, claiming that his presence will attract refiners from across the Yulan Empire.
