• Iori defeated Shojiba, befriended him, and gained a Bond CG before training and fighting off six masked students who had come to teach him a lesson.
• Iori met Saito, learned Yuki had been targeted because of her promotion prospects, and demonstrated advanced Kido before visiting Mayuri for Killing Aura Stone talismans.
• Iori entered another world through the Dangai, found Akame after she defected from the Empire, and intervened when Kurome confronted her with corpse dolls.
• Iori bound Kurome, urged Akame to take her away from the Empire, and later gave her an antidote and a brainwashing device while keeping Yatsufusa as a weapon.

Iori forged Mirror Water, revealed its power in Hueco Mundo, and built influence across the Empire by purging corrupt officials and gathering allies. As rebellion spread and the Empire collapsed faster than he could manage, his plan to limit the damage and preserve the country’s strength failed.

• Iori crossed the sea, defeated the Izumo Seisoryu with the Heavenly Cloud Sword, awakened Mirror Water, and returned to Bleach.
• Iori revealed his Shikai in Hueco Mundo while defending the camp alongside Tenkai Shūsuke.
• Iori joined Night Raid’s struggle against the Empire and used his official position to expose corrupt officials, redistribute their stolen wealth, and recruit Imperial Arms users.
• Iori confronted the Cult Leader, forced the Anning Dao to cooperate, and defeated Esdeath before persuading her to join him.
• Iori rejected Nadjeta’s proposed settlement and challenged Budoh to cooperate, but Budoh refused to abandon his loyalty to the Empire and Young Emperor.

Iori ended the Empire’s war, then entered the Holy Grail War as Ciel’s Servant and worked to turn the Red faction against Yggdmillennia. As his knowledge of the conflict proved unreliable, he began building alliances while preparing to confront Amakusa later.

• Iori helped Esdeath defeat General Budo and the Supreme Throne, then declared the monarchy and war over.
• In Hueco Mundo, Iori rescued a Shinigami squad from an Adjuchas and developed a gauntlet that absorbed free Reishi.
• Iori returned to Chaldea and was summoned as Berserker by Sella Von Einzbern, whose damaged body made her future uncertain.
• Iori and Ciel sought Lord El-Melloi II’s support, then stole relics from Shirou Amakusa’s graveyard and escaped into the forest.
• Iori defeated Atalanta, freed her, and warned her that Shirou planned to control the Masters and had taken the Einzberns’ wish.

After Medea seized control of the Greater Holy Grail and forged a temporary truce with Amakusa, Chaldea’s Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash arrived to investigate the disrupted war.

• Shuten-dōji attacked Iori and Ciel, but Iori drove her off before Black Archer and Black Berserker forced him to retreat.
• Medea and Circe clashed while gathering artifacts, then Medea strengthened the Black Faction and the factions began pursuing Rhinegold.
• Iori lured Yggdmillennia into battle at Thousand-Tree Castle as Jeanne discovered Rhinegold, and Shuten-dōji stole it during the ensuing fight.
• Shuten-dōji betrayed the Black Faction, killed Siegfried, and used his heart and Rhinegold to summon Yamata no Orochi.
• Jeanne rallied Servants from the Red, Black, and Ruler factions against Orochi, and Iori fought Ibuki-dōji as the battle spread through the poisonous forest.
• Jeanne empowered Iori with Command Spells, and he transformed Heavenly Cloud Sword and defeated Ibuki-dōji, causing Orochi to turn to stone.
• Medea revealed she had altered the contracts and seized the Greater Holy Grail, then agreed to a temporary truce with Amakusa as Iori joined their stated goal of saving humanity.
• Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash arrived in the forest, told Jeanne they were investigating a Singularity, and asked her to help locate a ley line node.
