Iori saved Karn Village, expanded his alliances, and defeated the World Devouring Serpent before traveling to Japan to challenge Susanoo. After becoming a Campione! and taking control of Japan’s Mystic Side, he turned his attention to freeing Son Goku and began planning how to draw out Guinevere.

• Iori revived the villagers of Karn Village, protected them from the approaching soldiers, and later rescued Gazef and his men from the Sunlight Scripture.
• Iori returned to Nazarick with the villagers and captives, while Gazef revived his fallen soldiers and faced uncertainty about his country’s future.
• Iori explored Purgatory, discovered that a damaged satellite relay was causing a Magic Tide, and defeated the World Devouring Serpent beneath the satellite.
• Iori met Rama, learned about his fate as the Last King, and resolved to resist Fate by confronting Campiones! and Unwilling Gods.
• Iori traveled to Japan, entered Susanoo’s domain, and defeated the god in a battle that threatened Mount Fuji.
• Iori became a Campione! and gained the Authority Third Power: Susanoo, then agreed to rule Japan without needless bloodshed.
• Iori learned that Japan’s Mystic Side had imprisoned Son Goku and decided to free him, while Alice proposed using Guinevere and the Holy Grail to draw out a powerful sacrifice.

Iori defeated Son Goku, Luo Hao, and Mekal, gaining new Authorities as he pursued his plan to free Rama. After healing Alice and meeting Athena, he was challenged by Doni, and their fight began in the desert.

• Iori accepted Ena as his guard while the Historical Compilation Committee spread rumors of a Steel God in Japan, drawing Guinevere and Luo Hao toward him.
• Iori fought Luo Hao and Son Goku, sealed Son Goku in the Mountain and River Scroll, and defeated the Monkey King to gain the Authority Saving Hairs.
• Rama explained that Guinevere had sacrificed her former life to forge the Holy Grail, and Iori reassured him that he need not meet others’ expectations.
• Iori fought Mekal and Verethragna, then defeated Mekal after driving off Voban, gaining the Authority King of the World.
• Iori defeated Lancelot, named her Hippolyta, and gained an Authority that let him summon her through a Pure White Spear.
• Iori healed Alice, who regained her strength, and later met Athena, who said she needed the snake to recover her full power.
• Doni challenged Iori, and the two fought in a desert as Iori blocked Doni’s attacks before cutting him across the flank with Mirror Water.

Iori defeated the Demon Kings and the Goddess of Fate, then turned to new adventures among Chaldea’s Heroic Spirits and Soul Society. The arc ended with Iori preparing to take Sengoku Kyōka to Hueco Mundo as part of an elite campaign against Shitan.

• Iori reunited with Luo Hao and Aisha, gathered the Campione!, and explained that the Last King’s awakening threatened Earth while the Great Covenant made him stronger for every living Demon King.
• Iori fought Tony, Luo Hao, Marquis Voban, and Pluto in his small world, defeating Voban and driving the other Demon Kings apart before Aisha transported Pluto away.
• Iori declared that he would become the Last King, resisted the Goddess of Fate, and fought Verethragna, Mekal, and Susanoo before defeating the gods and killing the Goddess of Fate.
• Iori recorded new Authorities, while Rama escaped his fate and Guinevere confessed her love, and Princess Alice named Iori Holy King, and Iori continued his travels with Ciel.
• Iori joined the Greece & Chaldea Olympic Games, won the race, and watched Luce take the beauty pageant and Little Tiamat win her contest before Artoria Pendragon won the eating competition.
• Iori kissed Akame after she admitted she liked him, and the Heroic Spirits later defeated the Bull of Heaven, caught Ishtar after she stole the prize, and ended the Olympics with a chaotic banquet.
• Iori reviewed Soul Society’s surveillance of Sengoku Koga and discussed with Kuchiki Ginrei moving Koga to the Third Division because Muramasa could threaten the Seireitei.
• Iori arranged for Sengoku Kyōka to join the Hueco Mundo Conquest as an inspector, then urged him to trust his companions and survive the campaign against Shitan.

Iori led the conquest of Hueco Mundo, defeated the King of Great Hollows, and saved Saito through Hollowfication before Yhwach returned. After the war, Iori and Akame traveled to Egypt to pursue his plans, where a huge being rose beneath the Nile.

• Iori organized the Hueco Mundo expedition, developed a Knot to help Zanpakuto users control their power, and awakened the satellite’s mana network while probing his sealed Bankai.
• Iori led Soul Society’s alliance with Las Noches against Shitan, defeated Stark, and advanced on the Tsunayashiro fortress with Saito and the Decapitation Squad.
• Iori defeated the evolved King of Great Hollows, but Tokinada absorbed the Hollow’s power and attacked the exhausted Iori.
• Saito struck down Shitan and fought Tokinada until Iori revealed Shitan was his clone, then Hollowfied and healed Saito while preserving Tokinada’s real head as evidence.
• Saito recovered and admitted her intimacy with Iori to Unohana, while Iori planned to justify using Hollowfication to save her.
• Yhwach returned in a youthful body, empowered Haschwalth, and revealed himself to the assembled Sternritter.
• Iori brought Akame to the Campione! world, where she reaffirmed her love for him, and then took her to Egypt to begin unifying the terrestrial veins.
• As Akame and Athena investigated a roar beneath the Nile, a huge being rose from underground and split the earth.
