Background / History

Tang San accompanies Ji Siyuan after the latter is cast through a spatial tunnel onto the Douluo Continent. Though only a wisp of remnant soul, he encourages the grieving Ji Siyuan to grow strong enough to become a god and reunite with his parents. 2

The historical account of this world immediately unsettles him. Tang San insists that, in his own history, he killed Bibi Dong but reformed the Martial Soul Hall rather than destroying it; he concludes that they have arrived in another timeline. 2 He is equally dismayed to find the Tang Sect reduced to three members and bound by a rule restricting future sect masters to Blue Silver Grass users. 2 3
