Background / History

Bei Bei was orphaned before the age of one: his mother died in childbirth, while his father never returned from a mission against Evil Soul Masters. His great-grandfather, Mu En, raised him at Shrek Academy and treated him indulgently. Bei Bei was aware that his inherited bloodline was unstable and could normally manifest only as the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, motivating him to seek a different future after being reborn into his life. 1

At six, Bei Bei awakened the Radiant Sacred Dragon, perfectly inheriting Mu En's martial soul. The awakening then produced an unexpected second martial soul, the Dark Sacred Dragon, making him a possessor of Twin Martial Souls. Although the Dark Sacred Dragon possesses darkness, devouring, and corrosion, Mu En considered it distinct from an evil martial soul. 1 18

Mu En designated Bei Bei as his successor and had the Sea God Pavilion approve him as a future candidate for Pavilion Master. He personally arranged Bei Bei's cultivation resources, including Whale Rubber, high-age soul rings, the Dragon Core, and the Sky Dragon Horse needed for his martial soul's second evolution. 2 21 25

After integrating the Dragon Core and a twenty-thousand-year Sky Dragon Horse soul ring, Bei Bei's Radiant Sacred Dragon evolved into the Radiant Dragon King, an ultimate martial soul. The evolution converted his first three thousand-year soul rings into ten-thousand-year rings and established his unusually powerful soul-ring configuration. 25 26 27

Bei Bei is described as handsome and scholarly, with long golden hair. His appearance becomes more imposing when he releases his martial soul or dons Battle Armor. 110

Bei Bei's primary martial soul began as the Radiant Sacred Dragon and evolved through the Dragon Core and Sky Dragon Horse soul ring. It possesses Ultimate Light, dragon bloodline suppression, lightning, holiness, life, and judgment-related powers. 25 26 27
