Bibi Dong enters Martial Soul Hall at six years old. During the following ten years, she devotes herself to cultivation, missions, and earning distinction for the organization. She considers those efforts repayment for its support, not grounds for Martial Soul Hall to control her personal life 2.

After awakening Twin Martial Souls with Innate Full Soul Power, she becomes Qian Xunji's disciple. She also consults Qian Yu about cultivating Twin Martial Souls, although their interaction remains limited before the marriage dispute 2 15.

She rejects being treated as a reproductive tool or a means of strengthening others' positions 2 3.

Her early love for Yu Xiaogang is intensely self-sacrificing. She defends his theoretical abilities, accepts a forced marriage to preserve his life, and continues protecting him despite Qian Yu's threats. Forced Marriage and the End of Her First Love

After her attempted elopement with Yu Xiaogang is stopped, Bibi Dong confronts Qian Xunji in the Pope Palace. He orders her to marry Qian Yu to preserve her talent within Martial Soul Hall and strengthen the Qian family's bloodline. She initially refuses, but ultimately agrees in exchange for Xiaogang's life 1 2 3 6.

Qian Yu then threatens to kill Xiaogang if she renews contact with him. During the wedding half a month later, he publicly displays recordings of Xiaogang fleeing, pawning her love token, cursing her, and courting a widow. Bibi Dong collapses and clings to Qian Yu; afterward, she abandons her attachment to Xiaogang and accepts her new husband, initially motivated in part by revenge 7 12 13 14.

Heaven Dou City and the Immortal Herb Expedition

Following the wedding, Bibi Dong begins appreciating Qian Yu's gentleness and talent. She travels with him to Heaven Dou City, meets Gu Ying, and becomes angry upon learning that Yu Xiaogang's brother, Yu Xiaoyan, has been challenging and injuring Martial Soul Hall fighters 15 17 19.

At the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well, she gains the Lovesick Heartbreak Red's recognition and absorbs it. She subsequently defeats her sixth-ring beast alone and receives the Medusa Empress left arm bone. These gains take her from level 56 to level 67 16 33 34 35 37 38.

Shared Ambition and the Far North

Bibi Dong supports Qian Yu's plan to unify faith across four continents. She promises to occupy the papal throne, remove obstacles on the Douluo Continent, and gather faith for him; he promises to find a divine inheritance for her 43 44.

After advancing to level 89, she joins the expedition to the Far North. The Ice Empress accepts a Soul Spirit Contract, raising Bibi Dong to level 94. Qian Yu then presses for Qian Xunji to step down so that she can become Pope 59 60 61 62 63.

Pope and Independent Divine Aspirant

By Chapter 81, Bibi Dong holds the papal office but finds its constant paperwork, meetings, and disputes frustrating. She also challenges Qian Yu's plan to redirect angel worship toward himself 81.
