Background / History

Qian Daoliu personally took Qian Yu as his disciple immediately after learning that the six-year-old possessed the twin martial souls Blazing Angel and Dark Sacred Dragon. Qian Yu's status as his disciple also brought additional Martial Soul Hall resources to Qian Yu's parents. 1

He initially regarded Qian Yu as his prospective successor and the future Great High Priest who would serve the Angel God. To develop Qian Yu's potential, he devised a cultivation plan requiring him to cultivate the Dark Sacred Dragon first and delay attaching rings to the Blazing Angel until reaching the Titled Douluo realm. 1

Although the Angel God statue did not initially grant Qian Yu the Angel Nine Trials, Qian Daoliu continued to support his disciple's pursuit of godhood.
