Rin! His comrade, who had died beneath his Lightning Blade, had actually come back to life!
She was standing right in front of him, alive and well!
"That's right..." Rin covered her mouth and chuckled.
At her confirmation, Kakashi's body began trembling. He staggered backward several steps, his eyes full of shock and confusion.
Rin had come back to life? Obito's beloved, who had died beneath his Lightning Blade, had actually come back to life?!
How was that possible?! How could the dead return to life?!
Right, something had to be wrong. This had to be a conspiracy!
With that thought,
Whoosh! Kakashi immediately lifted his Forehead Protector, revealing the crimson Sharingan. A terrifying surge of ocular power burst forth, and he fixed his gaze on Rin's body.
Kakashi truly lived up to his reputation as one of the top students of his generation at the Ninja Academy. He was also much smarter than Obito...
At least he knew to be suspicious.
Unfortunately, Naruto's clone, Rin, wasn't going to give him a chance to keep questioning things.
The moment Kakashi's Sharingan looked her way,
Pfft! Rin threw herself straight into Kakashi's arms, wrapped both hands tightly around his waist, and sobbed, "Kakashi... I missed you so much! I missed you every single day!"

Obito's voice crashed into Kakashi's heart like thunder from the heavens.
Kakashi's pupils contracted sharply, and his wrist tightened involuntarily, as if he were about to crush Rin in his arms.
"Ah..." Rin let out a soft, delicate cry.
But Kakashi had no time to pay attention to her...
That furious voice was too familiar. It was Obito's voice!
Even after all this time, Kakashi still remembered it!
But hadn't Obito already died? Had he come back to life too, just like Rin in his arms?!
But why had Obito's body grown into that of an adult?

Rin still looked exactly as she had when she died. That was undeniable proof that she really had passed away!
But Obito now looked about the same age as Kakashi...
That meant Obito really hadn't died back then!
He'd lived all the way to the present! He really hadn't died!
A surge of overwhelming excitement swept through Kakashi. The news that his friend was still alive filled him with indescribable joy!
Then, just as Kakashi was about to ask why Obito hadn't returned to Konoha if he was alive,
before he could get the words out,
"You... dared to... play around with Rin... right in front of me..." Obito let out another anguished wail.
"What?!" Only then did Kakashi realize what Obito had just said...
Because he was holding Rin tightly, and she had even rested her head against his chest. They looked incredibly intimate...
Boom! A wave of intense shame flooded Kakashi. He hurriedly shoved Rin away and stumbled backward several steps, trembling as he explained, "Obito, it's not what you think! It's absolutely not like that!"
"You... played around... with Rin!" Obito's eyes were still filled with pain as he continued to wail.
"Obito... no, you've got it wrong!" Kakashi's forehead was beaded with cold sweat as he continued explaining.
To his surprise, the moment he finished speaking,
Rin suddenly flashed over to Obito. She gently raised her small hand and placed it against his face.
Smack! The crisp sound of a slap rang out, followed by Rin's slightly indignant voice.
"Obito! Is that any way to talk about my dream guy?!"
