Background
Yue Chan is the Heaven Mending Sect's Saintess, raised within one of the Eight Lower Realms' most ancient orthodoxies. In her youth, she cultivates from a one-third fragment of a jade rune bone containing an incomplete Heaven Tier precious technique. Her realization resonates with the consciousness of the Little Dream God Lotus, a god-herb that became a War Goddess through cultivation; Yue Chan bows to the lotus out of reverence for its path. 17
She cultivated a Primary-Secondary Body Technique that divided her origin into herself and Qingyi. The division did not create complementary Yin and Yang halves: it made two separate people. As a result, a future “fusion” would require the destruction of one body to complete the other. 242
When Qingyi develops her own will, Yue Chan initially treats her as a necessary sacrifice. She creates Kyōka Suigetsu from the Great Dream Lotus Technique and Moon Shadow, using it to manipulate the Witch and set a trap for Qingyi, Su Ye, and the Witch alike. 265 Her subsequent Nirvana transformation instead focuses on repairing and sublimating her own origin through re-cultivation. 270
Appearance
Yue Chan is consistently portrayed as an ethereal, moonlike beauty whose presence resembles that of an exiled immortal. In her earliest appearance, she seems twelve or thirteen years old and wears a pristine white dress. 17
- Usually wears snow-white or white robes. 17 484
- Has bright eyes compared to the moon. 17 484
- Dark hair and a graceful, refined bearing. 487
- Is often surrounded by moonlight, sacred radiance, or immortal light when using her arts. 356 518
Personality
Yue Chan is proud, restrained, and deeply committed to the Heaven Mending Sect's interests. She refuses to surrender to Su Ye despite recognizing that his strength and origins are difficult to fathom, and she attempts to recruit Shi Hao for the sect's plans in the Stone Kingdom. 352
Her pursuit of power can make her coldly pragmatic. Her willingness to sacrifice Qingyi demonstrates how far she is prepared to go to escape the flaws and restraints of her cultivation method. 265 However, her experience in the Wheel Sea exposes a far more vulnerable side: she becomes lost and despairing when her re-cultivation reaches an unknown path. 270
Although initially hostile toward Su Ye and the Witch, Yue Chan gradually becomes less rigid. She accepts Su Ye's help during the Qingyue Flame fusion, later assists him in the Yuantian Secret Realm out of gratitude, and becomes increasingly conscious of her own feelings and attachments. 487 554 573
Abilities & Skills
Heaven Mending Art
The Heaven Mending Sect's ultimate art is Yue Chan's defining technique. It can repair origin, reverse adverse conditions, and exert a restrictive power over enemies.
- Uses it to mend her damaged origin during Nirvana. 270
- Restrains Su Ye with Order Divine Chains that suppress magic power. 352
- Can pull back a target attempting to vanish through space-based methods. 355
- Its repeated use creates a period of weakness that the Witch exploits. 516
Lunar Divine Body and Moon Arts
Yue Chan possesses an innate lunar constitution and can command lunar divine power.
- Awakens the Lunar Divine Body after merging Qingyi's power. 358
- Her innate talent, Water Mirror Moon Shadow, seals opponents within a moon realm and uses lunar divine power to suppress them. 357
- Her moonlight-based manifestations can spread her aura across the battlefield, making it difficult to identify her true body. 356
- Qingyi did not inherit Yue Chan's Moon Immortal Body when the two were divided. 487
Great Dream Lotus Technique and Kyōka Suigetsu
Yue Chan cultivates the Great Dream Lotus Technique, which enables spiritual contact, mental-world combat, and illusion-based suppression.
- Receives Su Ye's spiritual transmission and enters his Lotus Realm for a spiritual duel. 74
- Fuses the technique with Moon Shadow to develop Kyōka Suigetsu. 265
- Uses Kyōka Suigetsu to trap consciousnesses in a reflected dream-world and control the Witch's body. 265
- The Witch has comparable mastery of the Great Dream Lotus Technique, limiting Yue Chan's advantage. 267
Treasure Arts and Combat Methods
As the Heaven Mending Sect's Saintess, Yue Chan has mastered numerous high-level techniques and can combine them fluidly in battle.

Qingyue Flame Fusion
Yue Chan fuses with the Qingyue Flame, a legendary Immortal Fire suited to her lunar constitution.
- The flame is an ancient fire whose heat exceeds Divine Fire by an enormous margin. 487
- Its profound textures consume the runes engraved on Yue Chan's body during fusion. 487
- The fusion risks replacing her consciousness with that of the Qingyue Immortal. 487
- Afterward, Yue Chan retains her identity while gaining a sublimated primordial spirit, Jade Bone, and immunity to laws. 518

Qingyi Conflict and Nirvana
Yue Chan's divided-origin cultivation creates Qingyi, whose emergence as an independent person threatens Yue Chan's plans. Su Ye grants her the Kunpeng Method afterward. 356 357 358
Qingyue Flame Transformation
After reuniting with Su Ye in the Upper Realm, Yue Chan finds the Qingyue Flame she seeks. She agrees to refine it alongside him and resists the danger of losing herself during the fusion, affirming her identity as Yue Chan rather than Qingyi or the Qingyue Immortal. 484 486 487
Yuantian Secret Realm
