Background

The Witch was introduced as a young Heaven Severing Sect disciple in the Cosmos Domain. She possessed one fragment of a jade rune bone containing a sacred dance but lacking its core mental-cultivation method. When the rune bone resonated with Yue Chan's matching fragment, she resolved to seek out her “fated nemesis.” 17

While attempting to comprehend the Heaven-tier technique carried by the rune bone, she allowed her power of faith to be continuously drained as the price of obtaining its complete teachings. She replenished herself through multiple spiritual bodies emerging from her Heavenly Passages. 19

Her faith was later siphoned through a Sacrificial Spirit contract connected to Su Ye's Divine Temple.
