Nature
The Chat Group is an entity whose essence transcends the Heavens and Myriad Worlds. When Li Hao briefly perceived that essence, the Group explained that what he had seen were “endless universes”; it also confirmed that only the Group Leader could view its true nature. 77
It recruits members from disparate worlds through a mental interface. New members receive an internal notification, select a nickname, and may enter the group by silent command; even Holy Keisha could not detect the Group’s intrusion into Angel Yan’s mind. 1 12 592
Its system voice is terse and impersonal, answering major questions with replies such as “Essence,” “Recoverable,” and “Perfect.” 77
History
The Chat Group activated with Li Hao, the Moon-Worshipping Cult Leader, Li Xunhuan, Little Yan Lingji, Little Dragon Maiden, and Gu Santong as its first members. The initial members had two hours to elect a leader; Li Hao adopted the nickname Omniscient Li and won unanimously. The position cannot be relinquished unless the current leader dies. 1 5
Under Li Hao’s leadership, the Group developed from a communication network into a cross-world resource system. It activated missions, points, shops, enlightenment, auctions, livestreaming, and the Chat Group Chronicles, which preserve major group and member events for future readers. 6 11 26 41
The Group’s growth later became tied to larger multiversal conflicts. It could reclaim systems and special existences, restore or strengthen links affected by changes in a world’s Heavenly Dao, and eventually absorbed a system plugin while gaining control of the Azure Great World’s Heavenly Dao system. 77 124 129 258
At the Group’s first plenary session, Li Hao formally identified Outer Realm Heavenly Demons, Main God Space reincarnators, and the Great Han Celestial Dynasty’s invaders as major threats. He subsequently opened the Group Library to push members toward independence rather than continued reliance on him. 199 202
Systems and Functions
Membership and Communication
- Members communicate through a mind-linked group interface and can use nicknames rather than their real identities. 1
- The Group supports hologram-like video chat and mission livestreams; Little Dragon Maiden received 2,000 points for initiating a livestream. 8 26
- The Chat Group Chronicles record major Group events and member-related events. Accessing them transmits accumulated records directly into the reader’s mind. 41 273
- When supplied with a target world’s spatial coordinates, the Group can search that world for suitable members. In worlds with uncertain temporal positions, it may select members from different points in the same world’s timeline. 258 315
- The proposed Invitation Letter system allows members to spend 10,000 points to invite living beings, subject to the Group Leader’s approval. 259
Missions and Points
- Member-posted missions — members set their own requested objective and reward. 8
- Private missions — individual missions arising in a member’s own world, usually rewarding points. 8
- Team missions — large-scale operations requiring cooperation; rewards may include points, items, or direct cultivation advancement. 8
- Points are earned through missions and special achievements, then spent on member transactions, cultivation, shops, and other functions. 6
- The Group categorizes techniques, treasures, and quests into Heaven, Earth, Mystic, and Yellow grades. 11
Commerce and Knowledge
- The Shop sells cultivation pills, talismans, formation diagrams, and cross-world travel items. 11
- A Transmigration Talisman permits travel to a designated member’s world. It costs ordinary members 500 points; Li Hao’s first monthly purchase costs 100 points. 11
- The Auction House permits consignments, normally charging a 30% handling fee. The Group Leader receives three fee-free auctions per month. 11
- The Group Library was opened to encourage self-reliance. Its initial collection contained more than 1,000 categorized manuals covering cultivation, divine abilities, arcane arts, and scientific knowledge. 202 203
- The Level 5 Market function was unlocked alongside the Group Projection system. 258
Cultivation Support
- The Enlightenment function grants a special cultivation enhancement state. Ordinary members pay 1,000 points per hour, while the Group Leader pays 1,000 points per activation with no fixed duration and receives one free use each month. 11
- The personal-attribute function evaluates members and provides tailored cultivation advice, including identified weaknesses. 56 389
- The Group Leader’s exclusive Great Dao Furnace can deduce divine abilities and cultivation techniques into higher grades. It may fail, but failure neither harms the original technique nor incurs another penalty. 5
- The basic Great Dao Furnace grants one free monthly activation for up to three techniques. 5
- At Level 5, the Advanced Great Dao Furnace became available, with one free weekly use and the potential to produce Heaven-grade results. 258
Guardians
Members may attempt a Guardian trial for their own world. Successful Guardians receive their world’s Heavenly Dao blessing. 258
- Automatic daily point generation with no upper limit.
- Greatly increased cultivation speed, dependent on the world’s level and potential.
- Child of Destiny and Heavenly Dao-favored status within their native world.
- Access to Guardian-exclusive missions; Little Dragon Maiden’s list displayed 153,600 available missions. 258 261
- Ten percent of a Guardian’s gains is automatically submitted to the Chat Group as a service fee and becomes point rewards at the Group Leader’s disposal. 261
Cross-World Operations
- The Group can crack spatial coordinates and invade another world, though the required time depends on the target world’s strength. 258
- It can breach a world’s Heavenly Dao system more easily when it possesses clear coordinates, but may only vaguely target an era rather than select an exact historical point. 258
- The Chat Group Projection creates a special small world in the current location. At Level 5, it included entertainment areas and a martial arts arena where injuries do not affect participants’ real bodies. 258
- The Group can integrate with or take control of a world’s Heavenly Dao system; acquiring the Azure Great World’s Heavenly Dao authority directly raised it to Level 5. 256 258
Governance and Enforcement
- The Group Leader receives early access to locked functions and exclusive privileges unavailable to ordinary members. 5 11
- The Leader can block members from perceiving the Chat Group. When Gu Santong was muted, he could neither log in nor sense its existence. 5 8
- Safe Mode renders attacks between group members ineffective; Normal Mode permits members to attack each other. Li Hao selected this function as the Level 3 upgrade reward to protect members from internal threats. 135
- Ordinary members possess only basic communication permissions, while the Group Leader can authorize higher-level access when necessary. 124
Limitations and Vulnerabilities
- Drastic changes to a member’s world Heavenly Dao can disrupt that member’s connection. Wang Lei was cut off for a year before the Group opened a passage through his world’s Heavenly Dao and restored contact. 124 129
- The Group cannot always immediately identify hidden dangers within a world; it was unable to detect the underlying problem in Alice’s Resident Evil world. 594
- An unknown force once interfered with the Group’s power and attempted to steal its information, prompting a direct warning to Li Hao. 541
- A sufficiently powerful member can obstruct communication. Little Nannan sealed her connection, leaving the Group able to sense her existence but unable to establish direct contact. 624
Relationships
- Li Hao / Omniscient Li — Group Leader. He was unanimously elected from the first generation of members and holds exclusive administrative and upgrade privileges. 1 5
- Group Members — The Chat Group recruits and links beings from separate worlds, providing communication, missions, cultivation resources, and shared historical records. 1 8 41
- World Heavenly Dao Systems — The Group communicates with native Heavenly Dao systems to support Guardians and can invade or take control of them under special circumstances. 258 261
- Main God Space — Classified by the Group as “recoverable,” suggesting it can be reclaimed and incorporated to further perfect the Chat Group. 77
