But Tie Kui's heart had already begun to slowly draw closer to Senju Fujima. She mocked herself inwardly.
She had lost her father when she was young and grown up with her mother. Her mother's tragic past had left Tie Kui feeling somewhat inferior, too.
So she'd tried desperately to become stronger, pushing herself to improve, but her talent was limited.
Now she was already twelve, yet her strength was only around that of an elite Chunin. She couldn't help feeling a little discouraged.
She had no family by her side and no friends. Now that she'd met Senju Fujima, someone she could call a good friend, she'd developed a mistaken idea of what happiness was.
She thought this was love, when really, it was just a special attachment born from never having experienced someone treating her well before.
Especially since Senju Fujima seemed young, yet was very mature. He made her laugh and took good care of her.
To her, Senju Fujima seemed more like her own father, sheltering and protecting her. It was what people called a father complex, born of an extreme lack of paternal love.

Senju Fujima hadn't noticed Tie Kui's expression. He nodded slightly as he spoke.
"By the way, I'm planning to take you back to Konoha this time, so you can live there from now on."
