Susanoo vs. the Eight-Tails and Two-Tails

"Fourth Raikage, sorry to keep you waiting..."

When the Fourth Raikage charged into the Konoha camp, he wasn't greeted by a host of Konoha jonin ready to surround him, nor by people fleeing in panic. Instead, he heard a voice that seemed vaguely familiar.

The next second, countless black shadows surged toward him like a tide. Startled, the Fourth Raikage immediately changed direction, trying to escape the trap.

It was obvious that the Fourth Raikage was incredibly fast in Lightning Release Chakra Mode, nearly matching Minato Namikaze's Flying Thunder God over short distances.

His incredible speed carried him out of the Konoha camp before he realized something was wrong.

If this was a trap, he shouldn't have been able to escape so easily.

He looked back. The countless black shadows that should have formed the trap had quietly vanished, leaving only Shikaku Nara, whose face looked somewhat pale.

"Checkmate, Fourth Raikage..."

As Shikaku Nara spoke, four bright red barriers appeared around the Fourth Raikage, trapping him completely.

The direction, location, and even timing had all been perfectly judged. Who knew how much effort Shikaku Nara had put into this?

In any case, the plan to capture the Fourth Raikage had succeeded.

"Argh!!!"

The Fourth Raikage roared in fury, launching a relentless barrage of powerful attacks at the red barrier. But they had no effect at all.

"Fourth Raikage, I suggest you save your strength."

"This technique is called the Four Red Yang Formation. It requires four Kage Level powerhouses to maintain the chakra supply before it can be used. How could you possibly break it on your own?"

Shikaku Nara's voice rang out slowly. Though it sounded weak, there was something about it that made him seem strangely trustworthy.

The Fourth Raikage's attacks slowed. It wasn't that he believed Shikaku Nara; he had already expended a great deal of energy attacking the barrier, yet hadn't made it ripple in the slightest.

Obviously, whether he wanted to admit it or not, this wasn't a technique he could break in a short time.

"Since when has Konoha started researching forbidden things like Human Puppets?"

The Fourth Raikage glanced at the four puppets maintaining the Four Red Yang Formation nearby. Their faces were identical to that of the First, Hashirama Senju, which was certainly worth noting.

But why had Hashirama Senju's eyes turned into Sharingan?

And why did Madara Uchiha's eyes on the other side look like Byakugan...

As for the other two, the Fourth Raikage didn't recognize them.

At the Fourth Raikage's question, Shikaku Nara's smile stiffened slightly.

The truth was, he didn't know what these things were, either.

But one thing was certain: the First's remains were intact. These definitely weren't Human Puppets.

Still, as his enemy, the Fourth Raikage wasn't owed an explanation.

Meanwhile, Killer B was struggling desperately against the Perfect Susanoo. The two small Tailed Beast Bombs he'd managed to launch hadn't caused much damage.

Just as he was about to lose, Yugito Nii finally gained control of her Complete Tailed Beast Transformation and leaped onto the Perfect Susanoo, biting into it with all her might.

This showed the difference in form between the Tailed Beasts.

The Eight-Tails was huge and had far more chakra than the Two-Tails, but it lacked the Two-Tails' sharp fangs and claws, as well as the flames burning across her body.

As a result, the Eight-Tails struggled tremendously against the Susanoo, which it couldn't damage at all.

Compared to the Eight-Tails, the Two-Tails had less chakra, but she could leap straight onto the Susanoo and use the heat of her flames to hasten the drain on Ensei Uchiha's ocular powers.

Though her sharp fangs and claws couldn't fully penetrate the Perfect Susanoo's defenses, they were enough to leave scratches. And the flames covering her body could both burn and obstruct her opponent's vision.

With the Two-Tails buying him time, Killer B finally had a chance to gather a much more powerful Tailed Beast Bomb.

Ensei Uchiha paid no attention to the Tailed Beast Bomb Killer B was gathering. Instead, he abandoned the Chakra Blades in the Susanoo's four hands and reached for the Two-Tails darting around on its body.

Since she hadn't mastered Complete Tailed Beast Transformation, Yugito Nii had lost consciousness. Under the Two-Tails' control, the cat darted about with extraordinary agility.

Cats were incredibly quick to react.

But when facing the Uchiha Clan, the most important thing was to avoid meeting their gaze!

One Susanoo hand gripped the Two-Tails by the neck. In the other, ocular power gathered, forming another extremely solid long blade.

"Don't!"

The Eight-Tails, which had been silent until now, suddenly spoke. The Tailed Beast Bomb in its mouth had grown enormous, containing nearly half of its chakra.

But the Eight-Tails didn't dare fire. It wasn't worried about the Two-Tails dying; it simply couldn't be sure that even a Tailed Beast Bomb of this size could break through the Susanoo's defenses.

Ensei Uchiha paid no attention to the Eight-Tails, readying its Tailed Beast Bomb nearby. The solid-looking chakra blade in the Susanoo's hand came down without hesitation.

He'd prepared for trouble, but the attack went remarkably smoothly. Ensei Uchiha easily sliced off one of the Two-Tails' ears.

On the other side, the Eight-Tails had finished gathering its enormous Tailed Beast Bomb. For some reason, though, it still didn't attack.

The Susanoo's hand caught the fallen ear. Once separated from the Two-Tails' body, it turned back into a massive mass of chakra flames.

Throwing these flames would probably make for a decent attack.

But in the Susanoo's hand, the violent mass of chakra flames seemed unusually calm.

After absorbing the flames into the Susanoo, Ensei Uchiha took a high-quality scroll from his robes and used a Sealing Jutsu on the mass of chakra flames.

Even the highest-quality scroll couldn't hold Tailed Beast Chakra for long. It needed to be stored in a specially designed sealing container.

Still... it would be fine for a short time.

He punched the Two-Tails, still under the Sharingan's control, to the ground. The Tailed Beast's chakra steadily receded, revealing Yugito Nii's battered body.

"Your goal is Tailed Beast Chakra? What exactly are you trying to do?"

The Eight-Tails' voice came from Killer B's mouth. Clearly, it wasn't Killer B controlling the body right now, but the Eight-Tails, Gyuki.

"Huh? Was I hiding what I wanted?"

"If I remember right, I told you as soon as we met!"

"Fine, I'll say it again."

"Hey, Gyuki, cut off one of your tails for me."

"Otherwise, I'll go cut off one of your horns."
