Attack on Hongning Base City

The Black Dragon King appears over Hongning Base City and devastates its southwestern area. Its attack collapses a massive section of the city's wall, destroys buildings across several square kilometers, and forces civilians to flee amid widespread destruction. 60

Hong confronts the dragon directly. His spear severs one of its horns and progressively restrains it, prompting the Black Dragon King to retreat toward the sea rather than continue fighting on land. 60

Death at Hong's Hands

Hong pursues the Black Dragon King into the sea, where the beast's combat power is nearly doubled. Refusing to retreat despite the underwater disadvantage, Hong kills the dragon and returns to Hongning Base City carrying its severed head. 61

Hong later concludes that Soro deliberately lured the Black Dragon King to the city as part of a broader attack connected to the theft of the Energy-Gathering Ring and its blueprints. 61
