Just like that, the students' opinion shifted in an instant.

"So the Uchiha are cowards after all. I saw that Spirit Release of Shangguan Yue's just now. Wasn't it just a water droplet the size of a pebble?

And that was enough to scare someone unconscious? Are the Uchiha all bark and no bite?"

"Exactly. If you ask me, Uchiha Fugaku is probably one of the weakest in the Uchiha Clan."

Nawaki was also stunned as he looked at the traces of battle all around them.

"Brother Yue really has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve. I guess I won't be getting my revenge today. But Uchiha Fugaku really is strong. Too bad he ran into Brother Yue. So why do I feel so relieved?"

Shangguan Yue looked at the notification that his information had been recorded and nodded in satisfaction. Then he turned to Sarutobi Hinai.

"Teacher Sarutobi, why are you still here? Didn't you already leave?"

Sarutobi Hinai realized she'd been found out. Especially after seeing the look Shangguan Yue gave her, she laughed awkwardly.

"Well, I thought you might end up sparring, so I came back to make sure everyone stayed safe.

Shangguan Yue, is that Spirit Release of yours a Kekkei Genkai? I've never heard of it before."

Shangguan Yue nodded. "Yes, teacher. I only discovered it recently."

"Not long after Lady Tsunade taught me how to extract chakra, I suddenly awakened it. I call it Spirit Release.

As for what it can do, I won't go into that. You'll find out in time."

"Not bad, Shangguan Yue. As shinobi, we should always keep a card up our sleeve. There's no need to reveal all our information.

But would it be all right if I reported this to Lord Hokage?"

"Teacher, I told everyone here. Do whatever you like."

Sarutobi Hinai stood up and looked down at Uchiha Fugaku.

"Since Uchiha Fugaku isn't seriously hurt, I'll be going. Be careful, all of you."

Sarutobi Hinai vanished from the training ground with a whoosh. Leaping from tree to tree, she soon reached the Hokage Building.

She knocked softly and entered. Seeing Hiruzen Sarutobi busy with his work, she spoke at once.

"Lord Hokage, there's a student in my class named Shangguan Yue. I discovered that he has a hidden Kekkei Genkai called Spirit Release."

Hiruzen Sarutobi looked up at her. "So it's you, Hinai. Are you sure his name is Shangguan Yue? He just enrolled today? A first-year student?"

"Yes, Lord Hokage. Do you know him? He just enrolled today, and his name is Shangguan Yue. Lady Tsunade said he's her student."

"So it's Shangguan Yue. All right, you can go. Keep an eye on him and his information. If you learn anything new, report it to me."

Sarutobi Hinai nodded without asking anything else. Pushing down her many questions, she left the Hokage Building.

"How come the clan head isn't curious at all about a new student's Kekkei Genkai? Did he already know?

Forget it. I'd better go back and check on them, in case anything goes wrong."

While Sarutobi Hinai was leaving, Shangguan Yue turned to the other students.

"Does anyone else want to challenge me?

I refuse to believe that no one in all of Konoha has any backbone. Are you all willing to be trash?"

Stung by Shangguan Yue's taunt, the students watching had still hesitated.

He didn't seem all that strong, and yet he seemed really strong, too.

They couldn't quite make up their minds. Only Hyuga Hiashi had activated his Byakugan and was staring at Shangguan Yue in shock.

"His chakra is white? And why does he have so much of it?"

Seeing that everyone was still hesitating, Shangguan Yue felt his temper rising. But he still needed one more person to step up, so he looked at Hyuga Hiashi.

"You from the Hyuga Clan, you've already activated your Byakugan. What's the matter?

Your clan's Kekkei Genkai is supposedly the strongest in Konoha. If you won't take me on, how can it live up to that reputation?"

Hyuga Hiashi's expression changed instantly. Shangguan Yue had backed him into a corner. He had no choice but to accept.

Hizashi Hyuga came up beside Hiashi. "Brother, since he's asking for it, let's go."

Hizashi Hyuga's eyes widened as he activated his Byakugan. The blood vessels around his eyes bulged, giving him a fierce look.

Seeing that the other side was eager to fight, Shangguan Yue shook his head.

"No, you two aren't enough." He swept his hand toward the whole crowd. "All of you, come at me together. Otherwise, you won't even be enough to whet my appetite."

Hyuga Hiashi had initially held back out of concern for his clan's reputation, and had decided to let the challenge pass.

But when he heard Shangguan Yue say that, he didn't hesitate any longer. Instead, he shouted, "Since you put it that way, don't blame us for being rough! Everyone, get him! Teach this arrogant brat a lesson!"

Once someone took the lead, everyone charged at Shangguan Yue.

Seeing things were about to go badly, Senju Nawaki hurried aside and came to stand behind Shangguan Yue.

"Brother Yue, won't this get you into trouble? There are so many of them. Shouldn't we run?"

"Don't worry. Leave it to me."

Shangguan Yue brought his hands together. "Spirit Release: Soul Impact!"
