As Raditz lay dying, he vaguely sensed that it was the white-haired man who had performed the healing on Kakarot.
Could there really be such an exceptional healer on Earth?
This won't do!
I must get this news to Vegeta and Nappa as quickly as possible.
Damn it... I can't even speak right now.
I feel like I'm at my limit.
"Luo Tian, was it really you who saved me?" Son Goku asked.
"Who else would it be? Otherwise, you'd be reporting to the underworld by now." Luo Tian smiled.
"Luo Tian, so you know how to heal!" Son Goku was astonished. "I feel completely recovered, and not only that, I feel like my power is even greater than it was before."
"Mm, your current combat power is around 800." Luo Tian nodded.
"What? A combat power of 800! How is that possible!" Raditz's eyes widened in disbelief as he shouted.
"It's just the Saiyan's unique physiology. Look at you, you're on the verge of death, have you forgotten even that?" Luo Tian chuckled.
"You... how do you know about our Saiyan physiology?" Raditz was shocked beyond measure.
However, after saying this, Raditz spent his final breath, kicked his legs, tilted his head, and died right there.
"Oh my... I was actually going to tell you, I didn't expect you to die just like that." Luo Tian sighed.
Son Goku and the others were left completely speechless.
More than Raditz's death, they were stunned by the fact that Luo Tian actually possessed healing arts.
"Luo Tian, when did you learn healing arts?" Krillin asked.
"I was born with it, would you believe that?" Luo Tian smiled.
Krillin: "..."
There's no talking to him.
You say you were born with it? Who are you trying to fool?
You must have just learned it, right?
Otherwise, why haven't we seen you use it before?
In the distant reaches of the universe, on a certain planet.
"Raditz... is dead." Nappa said with an expressionless face.
"What a pathetic guy. He was defeated by someone with a combat power of just over 1,000." Vegeta chewed on an alien claw and shook his head.
"What now? Should we head to Earth after we finish up here?" Nappa asked.
"This news is quite interesting. It's about the Dragon Balls, which they say can grant any wish." Vegeta smiled and stood up. "Fine, let's set off now."
"Are we going to save Raditz?" Nappa asked.
"Don't joke around. What use is there in saving a piece of trash like that?" Vegeta laughed. "How about we use the Dragon Balls for eternal youth? We could fight forever."
"Is that so! Alright, no problem at all." Nappa nodded, his face full of anticipation.
"By the way, I heard Raditz mention before he died that someone knew some kind of healing. Did you hear that?" Vegeta asked.
"I heard it vaguely. It seems a guy named Luo Tian learned some kind of healing art... Kakarot might have been saved by him." Nappa mused.
"Tell me, what if we capture this guy named Luo Tian and make him serve us, and then use our amazing Saiyan physiology... what do you think?" Vegeta suddenly had a thought.
Nappa's pupils constricted; he seemed to realize something as well, and a hint of pleasant surprise appeared on his face.
"Earth really is a magical place." Vegeta smiled.
"It's just... I feel like they might be bluffing." Nappa rested his chin on his hand in thought.
"We'll know once we go and see for ourselves, won't we?" Vegeta smiled slightly.
"But then again, Vegeta, why does the name Luo Tian sound so familiar to me..." Nappa was thoughtful. "It seems there was someone named Luo Tian among us Saiyans."
"Who could remember something from so long ago?" Vegeta shook his head. "Besides, even if there was a Luo Tian among us Saiyans, he would have died long ago. The universe is so vast, it's normal to have people with the same name. And since his name is only two characters, the probability of a duplicate is even higher."
"That's true." Nappa nodded.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!"
The two stopped wasting words and immediately boarded their spherical mini-spacecraft, flying rapidly toward Earth.
"Compared to pure-blooded Saiyans, Kakarot's son possesses extraordinary combat power." Nappa said to Vegeta in the ship. "Vegeta, do you think there was a mistake?"
"No, there was no mistake. Raditz's energy was greatly reduced after being struck by that child." Vegeta replied. "That child has our Saiyan blood mixed with Earthling blood; he is a half-breed with powerful energy."
"If we keep breeding people like that, the universe will be ours, the Saiyans', once again." Nappa laughed.
"Don't joke around. If that brat grows up, his power will likely become even greater. By then, our situation could become very dangerous." Vegeta snorted.
"You're right. Let's just wipe out all the humans on Earth first." Nappa agreed.
"It has been a long time since I had a peaceful sleep." Vegeta closed his eyes.
"Then we shall meet again in a year." Nappa replied.
Earth.
After accepting the fact that Luo Tian could heal them, the group gradually calmed down and began making plans for what was to come.
"In other words, two even more powerful Saiyans will descend upon Earth in a year," Son Goku mused.
"By the way, how did Goku's brother know our exact location?" Bulma suddenly asked.
"He wore a strange device on his face that could measure an opponent's energy and location," Piccolo added, glancing silently at Son Gohan.
Son Gohan had fainted and was currently being held by Master Roshi.
"Is it that thing?" Bulma pointed at the Scouter on Raditz's face. "Luo Tian, could you help me take that off?"
"Easy enough." Luo Tian smiled, stepped forward, and removed the Scouter from Raditz.
Bulma immediately put it on, pressed a few buttons, and pried open the back cover to examine it closely.
"So that's how it works. Such an advanced device; although it's slightly malfunctioning, it's still usable." Bulma nodded. "I'll take this back, study it thoroughly, and improve upon it. While I'm at it, I'll go find Yamcha and Tien Shinhan."
"We should head back to Kame House first..." Master Roshi suggested.
"Right, Piccolo, what are your plans for now?" Son Goku asked Piccolo.
"Waaah!" Piccolo gritted his teeth, his energy surging toward his severed arm.
"Squelch!"
Instantly, Piccolo's severed arm grew back.
"Huff, huff, huff..."
However, the regeneration had consumed a significant amount of Piccolo's stamina.
Master Roshi: "..."
Bulma wore a look of utter astonishment.
