Flames flashed from the muzzle!
Three bullets burst from the barrel.
They hurtled forward at three or four times the speed of sound.
At that speed, the distance of less than twenty kilometers could be covered in just over ten seconds.
"What?!"
The MA pilot cried out in shock.
By the time he tried to maneuver the MA out of the way, it was already too late. The bullets came in too fast to give him a chance to react.
The high-speed bullets punched through the MA's armor in an instant.
They struck the compact power pack inside. The high-density battery pack exploded, triggering a chain reaction that blew the MA apart in space.
The pilot was swallowed by the flames of the explosion.
Seeing their comrade die, the other MA pilots turned their eyes toward the MS Felix was piloting.
"Everyone, be careful! This guy's good. Stop maneuvering the way you normally do. Keep your movements unpredictable!"
One of the MA pilots called out to his comrades over the comms.
The others followed his advice.
The remaining MAs began making unpredictable maneuvers around the Ginn in space, their onboard cannons firing continuously at it as they moved.
Seeing this, Felix's mind raced as he thought about how to deal with the situation.
As he pondered, the MS maneuvered to dodge the incoming attacks.
A second or two later,
Felix came up with a solution.
Under his control, the Ginn began maneuvering to dodge the bullets as it charged straight ahead.
The MA maneuvering in front of him hurriedly changed course. It came to an abrupt stop in space, then turned around.
That moment, as it turned, was when its firepower was weakest.
Felix seized the opportunity and pulled the trigger on the control stick.
The Heavy Assault Machine Gun in the Ginn's hands opened fire.
Bullets burst from the muzzle.
They struck the MA's propulsion system dead on.
The propulsion system blew apart, and the MA's maneuverability nearly dropped to zero in an instant.
As it turned to face its opponent, the Ginn was already right in front of it, under Felix's control.
The Heavy Slash Blade in his hands swung!
It slashed cleanly through the MA.
The sharp, sturdy blade cut through its armor, killing the pilot instantly.
Before long, the MA he had been piloting joined him in death.
"Another one down!"
Felix muttered under his breath.
He piloted the MS toward the other MAs and attacked.

Earth Alliance Forces
Inside the Roosevelt's MA hangar,
Soldiers belonging to the Blue Cosmos organization were carrying out their superiors' orders. Three Moebius-type MAs sat motionless as nuclear missiles, secretly brought aboard, were mounted on their weapon racks.
"Reporting, sir! All weapons have been installed!"
Once everything was in place, a soldier reported to his superior.
The reply came soon after the report was delivered.
"Launch!"
"Understood!"
The two-word response came, and everyone evacuated the hangar. The three Moebius MAs moved toward the launch track.
When the countdown ended, three Moebius carrying Mk5 Large Nuclear Warhead Missiles launched from the Roosevelt alongside seven other Moebius providing cover.
Following the plan, they sped toward the area encompassing Junius City's Sectors 7 through 10.
Under the constant thrust of their boosters, the ten specially modified Moebius MAs steadily accelerated, eventually reaching speeds many times the speed of sound as they surged forward.
They were so fast it was startling!
At the defensive line,
After a fierce battle, Felix had eliminated every MA that had been attacking him.
Having dealt with them, he was preparing to engage elsewhere when unusual changes in the radar and screen feedback caught his attention. He noticed the ten MAs that seemed out of the ordinary.
Sensing something was wrong, Felix zoomed in on the targets and examined them carefully.
As he studied the Moebius units speeding along at high velocity, his eyes widened in shock.
The missiles carried by these Moebius were far larger than any ordinary missiles, and their design was unusual as well.
A thought flashed through his mind.
His face twisted in shock. He selected the targets and sent a warning to every comrade he could reach.
"We can't let those abnormal MAs get near Junius City!"
He shouted at the top of his lungs.
Felix piloted the Ginn into action at once.
After hearing Felix's anguished shout over the comms, Heine and the other MS pilots checked the information Felix had shared.
Once they had seen it, every one of them looked shocked.
Without hesitation, they turned their MS around and charged toward the Moebius units.
Seeing this, the Earth Alliance MA pilots didn't understand what was going on at first. But how could they let such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip by?
They piloted their MAs forward and attacked ZAFT in a coordinated assault.
The ZAFT MS pilots, desperate to save their homeland, focused on rescuing Junius City and let their guard down against the MA forces.
Several Ginns were destroyed under the MAs' assault.
The defensive line also began to falter, and the battlefield steadily shifted toward the colony.
Amid the flames,
A ZAFT warrior piloting a Ginn made the ultimate sacrifice.
Even so, ZAFT's forces continued to charge toward the Moebius MAs with everything they had.
At the head of the charge, Felix dodged the attacks coming from behind while rapidly closing in on his target.
Over the comms,
Heine's voice rang out.
"Felix, the Moebius units have split up!"
"Heine, I'll take the Moebius heading for Junius Seven and Eight. You handle the ones heading for Junius Nine and Ten."
As soon as he finished, their captain Hawkins spoke over the comms.
"You two both head for Junius Seven and Eight. We'll take care of Nine and Ten."
Hearing his captain's voice, Felix raised no objections.
He continued piloting the Ginn forward.
Then Heine's voice came through again.
"Felix, just keep charging ahead. I'll handle the MAs chasing us."
After saying this, Heine brought his Ginn to an abrupt halt and turned to face the pursuing MA forces.
Hearing Heine's plan, Felix gave a brief acknowledgment over the comms, then pressed on at full speed.
He aimed the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in his hands at the targets and opened fire.
His first few shots were tense and hurried, and they all missed due to the Moebius units' high speed, maneuvering, and other factors.
Felix's nerves grew even more frayed.
He warned himself not to lose his composure. If he did, intercepting them would become even harder.
