After calming himself, Felix brought the scope up to his eye. With the scope and the computer's corrections, he took aim at a fast-moving Moebius and opened fire.
Two bullets shot from the muzzle!
The bullets didn't follow a direct path toward their target. Instead, guided by the computer's corrections, they were fired toward the target's predicted position.
The bullets sped through space!
The distance between them quickly closed.
At last, the bullets struck the Moebius's propulsion system with pinpoint accuracy.
The Moebius pilot felt the damage to the propulsion system and, without hesitation, jettisoned its payload.
Barely had it done so when another bullet sped toward the missile it had been carrying.
That shot was just as precise.
The bullet struck the missile and blew up its thruster. The explosion set off the warhead ahead of it, triggering a chain reaction.
The Moebius pilot who had just jettisoned the missile hadn't even had time to fly away before the explosion swallowed him.
The Moebius's destruction triggered an even more powerful chain reaction, and the flames of the explosion blazed brighter.
Looking at the explosion, Felix knew at once that it was a decoy missile, not a real nuclear missile.
Felix quickly shifted his gaze to the other four Moebius units. He piloted the Ginn through rapid maneuvers while firing his Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
His precise aim made it impossible for the four Moebius units to maintain their formation as they flew.
Inside the cockpit
The pilot looked at the distance remaining to the Junius City colony satellite, then spoke over the comms.
"Things are critical. Launch the missiles! Stop the ZAFT Forces!"
After saying this, he was the first to pull the trigger.
As the trigger was pulled, the weapon rack unlocked. The thruster at the rear of the missile began to fire, sending flames shooting from its nozzle.
The missile surged forward at high speed.
After completing their launch, the four Moebius units quickly broke away and flew toward Felix.
Their intentions were obvious!
Seeing the autocannons mounted on the four Moebius units aimed at the Ginn he was piloting and firing, Felix grimaced savagely and maneuvered the Ginn to dodge.
After evading the missile attacks, his gaze fell on the four missiles. His eyes were bloodshot, making him look like a demon from hell.
"Damn it! Damn it!"
He cursed furiously.
He maneuvered the Ginn and opened fire on the missiles.
The Ginn was already capable of precise shooting, but under the interference of the four Moebius units, its firing accuracy dropped as it maneuvered.
He fired several shots, but none hit.
As he watched the missiles fly faster and faster, drawing closer and closer to the colony satellite, Felix grew increasingly anxious.
As anger and anxiety twisted together, Felix suddenly felt something extraordinary come over him.
In that instant, his vision, hearing, touch, and perception all seemed to leap to unprecedented levels.
His mental strength and reaction speed improved even more dramatically.
Looking at the Moebius units maneuvering across the screen, he could clearly track their flight paths and the slightest changes in their movements.
It felt as if they had all slowed down!
Felix had no time to dwell on the change. All he wanted now was to deal with these bastards quickly, then take care of the missiles.
The Ginn darted through space!
It evaded the Moebius units' fire as the Heavy Slash Blade in its hand swung.
The blade struck one of the Moebius units.
The Moebius exploded in space.
The Heavy Assault Machine Gun in his other hand turned toward the flying missiles and opened fire.
A bullet shot out, speeding toward the missiles.
It intercepted one of them with pinpoint accuracy along its flight path.
The bullet struck the missile's propulsion system. The exploding propulsion system set off one of the missile's impact fuses. The detonator activated in an instant, triggering a far more powerful explosion. Its light was completely unlike that of the missile that had just exploded.
This was the light of a nuclear explosion.
The nuclear missile detonated, taking the decoy missile beside it with it.
With those two missiles dealt with, Felix turned his gaze to the remaining pair and fired his Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
Just after he fired, the Moebius units attacked the Ginn.
At the last possible moment, Felix piloted the Ginn through an incredibly precise maneuver to evade their attack.
"What's going on? How did that guy suddenly get so good at piloting?"
Watching Felix's astonishingly precise, near-impossible maneuvering, the Moebius pilot stared in shock and spoke in disbelief.
After narrowly evading the attack, the Ginn opened fire on the Moebius unit.
The Moebius pilot saw the attack and hurriedly maneuvered to dodge. He evaded the first volley and hadn't even had time to celebrate or counterattack before Felix's predicted shot struck the MA.
An urgent alarm blared inside the cockpit.
A look of terror appeared on his face. It lasted only an instant before the Moebius's explosion swallowed him.
Meanwhile, the bullets Felix had fired from the Ginn sped through space.
They raced ahead of the two missiles, toward the points where their flight paths would take them.
Five or six hundred kilometers from the colony satellite, a bullet narrowly collided with one of the missiles.
The fuel tank at the missile's rear, where fuel still remained, exploded violently. The blast shattered the missile, hurling its warhead toward the other missile.
The warhead struck the other missile's propulsion system. The fuel tank, still holding unburned fuel, exploded.
The blast set off the warhead, and the chain reaction ultimately detonated the missile's own warhead as well.
The explosion shone brilliantly!
Inside the Ginn's cockpit
Seeing that the enemy's attacks had all been dealt with, Felix felt a slight sense of relief.
He focused on the two remaining Moebius units in front of him.
After briefly trading maneuvers with the two Moebius units in space, Felix found his opening and fired his Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
He forced both Moebius units to maneuver and dodge.
As they did, the Ginn darted toward one of them at high speed.
Before it could react, the Heavy Slash Blade in the Ginn's hand came down hard.
That single slash destroyed the Moebius unit. Afterward, Felix turned his gaze to the last one.
The Ginn raised its Heavy Assault Machine Gun and fired at the enemy.
Under Felix's powerful calculations, aided by the computer, the Moebius walked right into his trap and was ultimately destroyed by the bullets.
The explosion's fiery light reflected before Felix's eyes!
