Background / History
Mr. Li operated a prop warehouse and in-house prop-making studio, specializing in masks and full-body suits. Within the instance’s assigned scenario, he employed Zhang Anzai as a night-patrol student intern, presenting himself as a successful professional from Zhang’s Stage and Film Art Design major. 37
Behind this ordinary façade, Mr. Li was the rogue player Bi Gan, also identified as Un-Dao, a member of the Ten Evils. His inherited ability, Second Skin Art, had reached 10% completion before his defection and gave him skinning- and leatherworking-related powers. Like other Ten Evils members, he could assume the role of a monster or boss within an instance. 43 44 45
His warehouse was not merely a workplace: it contained hidden surveillance cameras, a collection of skin masks and tools, altered passages, and staged environments suited to ambushes. He used it as both a workshop and a hunting ground. 39 43 47 49
Appearance
Mr. Li initially appears as a pale, messy-haired man in a leather apron, often marked with blood and carrying himself like an exhausted but approachable workshop owner. 40
- His apparent ordinary face is a closely fitted skin mask. 41
- Beneath it, his head is severely burned, with blackened and pitted skin, necrotic patches, blisters, and bloodshot, smoke-damaged eyes. 41
- He regularly wears masks made from human skin or animal-like forms; these alter the wearer’s body, senses, and mental state. 45 46
- He carries cutting tools, including a recurved skinning knife, cleaver, scissors, and other workshop implements. 41 47
Personality
Mr. Li maintains a superficially polite persona around Zhang Anzai, praising him as a diligent student while covertly monitoring and assessing him. 39 40 Once exposed, he becomes openly theatrical and sadistic, treating the pursuit as a game and wanting his target to remain frightened enough to be entertaining. 42
His hostility is rooted in intense jealousy toward gifted people. He resents those who possess talent, composure, or capable administrators, believing that naturally talented individuals receive recognition that people like him can never earn. 46 47 Even when seriously injured, he remains calculating, using retreat, traps, and the masks’ corruptive effects to turn a losing fight back in his favor. 47 49
“Little Zhang, you really are the most interesting employee I've ever come across.” 42
“I fucking hate people like you!” 46
Abilities & Skills
Second Skin Art
Bi Gan’s old inheritance had reached 10% completion before he became a rogue player. Its unlocked abilities center on skinning, leatherworking, and the creation or use of special masks. 43 45

- Lets him conceal his appearance beneath a realistic skin mask. 41

- Prolonged mask use can erode the wearer’s judgment and personality. 45 48 49
Monster Essence
As a Ten Evils member acting as an instance boss, Bi Gan possesses Monster Essence, a boss-exclusive ability that briefly locks his health when he is critically wounded. 49 50
- Allows him to survive otherwise decisive attacks, including Zhang Anzai’s World Breaker strike. 42 50
- Gives him time to recover and reposition after taking major damage. 46 50
- Does not make him invulnerable; Zhang Anzai ultimately kills him after avoiding his final ambush. 50
