History
During the Third Shinobi World War, A led an invasion into the Land of Wind. Rasa held back his assault single-handedly in a battle that established Rasa’s reputation 52.
As Raikage, A openly provoked Ōnoki over the rivalry between their villages 273. Later, he and Killer B were ambushed while traveling with Kumogakure ninja. A ordered B to tend the wounded and pursued their attacker, Dekai. Learning that Dekai had left Kumogakure angered him, though their fight also left him impressed by Dekai’s strength 280 281 284.
A subsequently faced Keiichi and was driven onto the defensive, suffering what he regarded as his most humiliating defeat since becoming Raikage 302. When Keiichi sought to unify the Shinobi World, A questioned what would happen to the hidden villages and their shinobi. He later sought Keiichi’s help against White Zetsu and joined the other Kage in pledging allegiance to him as Holy King 331 366 367.
