"Good, the tracker is still there. I hope it hasn't been discovered."

After activating his tracking glasses, Conan let out a sigh of relief.

"Driver, please hurry. I have something urgent to do," Conan said to the driver.

The taxi driver glanced back at Conan. He was just a kid—what urgent business could he possibly have?

"No, there's a speed limit here. I can't go any faster," the driver immediately shook his head.

"Can't I just pay you extra?" Conan gritted his teeth.

The driver looked back at Conan again, then shook his head. He did not think Conan could produce any money, and even if he really could, the driver would not do it.

After all, he had a whole family depending on him. There was no need to risk his life for money. If something really happened, it would all be over.

Conan could only worry helplessly.

Meanwhile, in Shin's car, Ran's cheeks were slightly flushed. At last, she gathered her courage, looked at Shin, and said, "Shin, can we not go back tonight?"

Shin, who was driving, froze at Ran's words. What had Ran just said? Had he heard wrong, or had Ran misspoken?

But when he saw Ran lower her head in embarrassment, Shin knew he had not misheard.

"Sure, I have no objections," Shin said with a slight smile. Of course he had no objections; he had practically been hoping for this.

"Then where are we going now?" Ran asked Shin.

"Is Beika Grand Hotel okay?" Shin asked Ran with a smile.

"O-of course it is." Ran was so nervous that she stammered, nearly unable to get the words out.

Seeing Ran like this, Shin could not help but chuckle inwardly. Agreeing to come out with Ran this time had truly been the right decision.
