Chapter 46: Tenseigan, Puppet

"Sarutobi, that Hyuga Shin definitely harbors ill intentions. It would be best to keep him under surveillance; leave this matter to my Root!" Danzō approached Sarutobi Hiruzen.

Danzō had his own agenda. He wanted to use Hyuga Shin to indirectly control Kushina, as he had never given up on his designs for the Nine-Tails.

Sarutobi Hiruzen glanced at him; he understood this old friend better than anyone.

"Hyuga Shin is a member of the Hyuga Clan. This matter could easily trigger internal conflict within Konoha, so let it end here!"

Danzō said, unwilling to give up: "He doesn't even have the Byakugan; I doubt the Hyuga Clan would even care about him."

Sarutobi Hiruzen took a puff of his pipe and said indifferently: "No need. I have already decided to make Tomoko Uzumaki the Jinchuriki."

"What?" Danzō widened his eyes, not expecting Sarutobi Hiruzen to have already made up his mind. After a long silence, seeing that Sarutobi Hiruzen had no intention of changing his mind, Danzō could only leave in frustration.

"Sigh!" Sarutobi Hiruzen let out a sigh.

In terms of talent, Kushina was the best choice, but Sarutobi Hiruzen had come to understand Kushina's personality over these past few days.

Compared to the gentle and shy Tomoko Uzumaki, they were two extremes. Coupled with the recent incident, it led him to ultimately choose Tomoko Uzumaki.

"Sarutobi, I will not give up." Danzō roared with a sinister expression.

The news of Kushina moving into Hyuga Shin's home reached their classmates. The precocious male students looked at Hyuga Shin with envious eyes.

Although there was no explicit rule of monogamy in Konoha, most people practiced it.

Hyuga Shin was not even six years old yet, and he already had two girlfriends, which made them so jealous their faces were twisted.

Hyuga Shin gladly accepted those envious and jealous gazes, looking at these losers with the posture of a winner in life.

"Your look really pisses me off. If I could, I'd really like to punch you," Nawaki said, clenching his fists.

"Is that the howl of a loser? People like you, single dogs, can't understand a winner in life like me. Life is truly mine! While you are still crawling slowly, I am already standing at the peak, looking down upon all living things."

"You hateful guy, I think you're even more annoying than Uchiha Ken, who walks with his eyes fixed on the top of his head." Seeing Hyuga Shin, who wouldn't stop acting arrogant, Nawaki became increasingly annoyed.

"Ignorant, shallow! I am merely stating a fact; could it be that you think I am showing off?" Hyuga Shin crossed his arms, his tone flat.

"So what if you have two girlfriends? What's so great about that? My future girlfriends will definitely be a hundred times more numerous than yours; I'll make you die of envy then."

Hyuga Shin looked at Nawaki in astonishment and patted his shoulder.

"With your scrawny frame, would you even be able to handle it?"

"Senju Nawaki, Hyuga Shin, both of you get back to your seats!" Ueno Juri walked in and roared.

"Today we are discussing the history of Konoha. Konoha was founded by..."

In the entire class, everyone except Hyuga Shin, including Shikaku Nara, listened with great interest.

Hyuga Shin, however, found it very boring. This history had clearly been rewritten; there was no mention of Madara Uchiha throughout the entire text, focusing entirely on Hashirama, the Second Hokage, and the current Third Hokage.

Madara Uchiha was mentioned later on, but it was just a passing remark, and he was portrayed as a major villain—though he was indeed a villain.

This act of rewriting history was definitely not done by Hashirama Senju; it must have been Tobirama Senju or Shimura Danzō.

Given Tobirama Senju's hatred for the Uchiha, it was not impossible for him to have orchestrated such a thing.

Just like before, he spent another day at school. Aside from the addition of Kushina during the commute, school life hadn't changed much and remained somewhat boring.

Walking on the way back, Hyuga Shin's expression shifted, and he led Mikoto and Kushina, deliberately heading toward a dark alley.

After walking into a quiet, dim path where no one passed by, Hyuga Shin's expression turned cold.

"Get out here!"

Mikoto and Kushina were startled, and then they heard footsteps behind them. A ninja wearing a dog mask walked over.

Mikoto and Kushina were somewhat nervous, subconsciously leaning toward Hyuga Shin.

"Hyuga Shin, Lord Danzō requests your presence." An emotionless voice reached Hyuga Shin's ears.

Hearing the name Danzō, Hyuga Shin's expression grew colder. He had absolutely no favorable impression of this man.

He claimed to be doing everything for Konoha, placing himself on a moral high ground, yet he did nothing but despicable things—a classic case of a whore wanting a chastity monument.

Regardless, nothing good could come from this guy seeking him out. Since that was the case, Hyuga Shin didn't mind finding some trouble for him.

"What happens next might be a bit bloody. If you can't handle it, close your eyes," Hyuga Shin warned Mikoto and Kushina.

"It seems you are refusing. Then I have no choice but to use force." This Root ninja's eyes revealed three tomoe as he looked coldly at Hyuga Shin.

"Sharingan? A member of the Uchiha Clan?" Hyuga Shin was stunned; he hadn't expected the Root to have members of the Uchiha Clan. Then, Hyuga Shin smiled. "Good. This is exactly what I wanted."

"Tenseigan: Puppet Manipulation!" This Uchiha Root ninja was instantly controlled by Hyuga Shin.

Whether becoming a puppet controlled by Hyuga Shin or a puppet with self-awareness, both one's mental will and actions were under the absolute command of Hyuga Shin.

This was, in reality, no different from Kotoamatsukami, though its drawback was that it could only be used on those weaker than oneself—a limitation that Kotoamatsukami actually shared.

"Gouge out your own eyes," Hyuga Shin said coldly.

The puppet's figure faltered for a moment, then it gouged out its own eyes without the slightest hesitation.

Hyuga Shin nodded, then took out the two Sharingan belonging to Uchiha Akito and tossed them to the puppet.

"Replace them with these eyes, then go and attack the Third Hokage! Frame it on Danzo or the Uchiha."

"Understood!"

In the world of Naruto, performing an eye transplant was not overly difficult, provided one possessed medical ninjutsu; however, this fellow knew no such techniques.

Fortunately, Hyuga Shin had studied under Tsunade for a time, and while he was not exactly a master, he was capable enough to perform an eye transplant for someone else.

Yet, after fitting him with the Mangekyo Sharingan, Hyuga Shin felt he might have made a miscalculation, as this guy only possessed the strength of a jonin.
