That had given Sarutobi Hiruzen a terrible headache. He had sent the Anbu to teach a lesson to everyone who deliberately tried to get close to Tomoko Uzumaki.

Chapter 46: Tenseigan Puppet

"Sarutobi, that Hyuga Shin is definitely up to no good. We should keep an eye on him. Leave this to Root!" Danzo went to see Sarutobi Hiruzen.

Danzo had his own reasons. He wanted to use Hyuga Shin to indirectly control Kushina. He had never given up on his plans for the Nine-Tails.

Sarutobi Hiruzen glanced at him. He knew this old friend better than anyone.

"Hyuga Shin is a member of the Hyuga Clan. This could easily cause trouble within Konoha, so let's leave it at that."

Danzo said unwillingly, "He doesn't even have the Byakugan. I doubt the Hyuga Clan would care about him."

Sarutobi Hiruzen took a drag from his pipe and said calmly, "That won't be necessary. I've already decided to make Tomoko Uzumaki the Jinchuriki."

"What?" Danzo's eyes widened. He hadn't expected Sarutobi Hiruzen to have already made up his mind. After standing there for a long while and realizing Hiruzen had no intention of changing it, Danzo could only leave, unwillingly.

"Sigh!" Sarutobi Hiruzen sighed.

In terms of talent, Kushina was the best choice. But over the past few days, Sarutobi Hiruzen had also come to understand her personality.

Although there was no rule in the Naruto world requiring monogamy, most people still had only one spouse.

Hyuga Shin wasn't even six yet, and he already had two girlfriends. Their faces twisted with envy and jealousy.

"Your smug look really pisses me off. If I could, I'd love to punch you." Nawaki clenched his fist.

"Is that the losers' chorus? Single guys like you could never understand a winner in life like me. This is what life's all about! While you're still crawling along, I'm already standing at the top, looking down on everyone."

"You insufferable jerk. I think you're even more annoying than Uchiha Ken, with his eyes in the back of his head." Watching Hyuga Shin show off without end made Nawaki even more irritated.

"Ignorant. Shallow! I'm simply stating a fact. Are you suggesting I'm showing off?" Hyuga Shin crossed his arms and spoke evenly.

"So what if you have two girlfriends? It's no big deal. When I'm older, I'll have a hundred times as many as you. Just you wait—I'll make you jealous to death."

Hyuga Shin stared at Nawaki in shock, then patted him on the shoulder.

"With a scrawny body like yours, can you even handle that?"

"Senju Nawaki, Hyuga Shin, get back to your seats!" Ueno Juri barged into the room, roaring.

"Today we're going to learn about Konoha's history. Konoha was founded by—"

Everyone in the class, including Shikaku Nara, listened with rapt attention. Everyone except Hyuga Shin.

Hyuga Shin found it incredibly boring. This history had clearly been revised. Uchiha Madara was nowhere to be seen; the whole thing was about Hashirama, the Second Hokage, and the current Third Hokage.

Madara was mentioned later, but only in passing—and as the great villain, even though he really had been a villain.

There was no way Hashirama Senju had been behind this historical revision. It had to have been Tobirama Senju or Shimura Danzo.

Given Tobirama Senju's hatred of the Uchiha, it wasn't hard to imagine him doing something like this.

Just like before, Hyuga Shin spent another day at school. Apart from Kushina being there during the walk to and from school, nothing much had changed. School was still a little boring.

As he walked home, Hyuga Shin's expression shifted. He led Mikoto and Kushina deliberately down a dark alley.

When they reached a deserted, quiet alley, Hyuga Shin's expression turned cold.

"Come out!"

Mikoto and Kushina were startled. Then they heard footsteps behind them. A shinobi wearing a dog mask approached.

Mikoto and Kushina felt nervous and instinctively moved closer to Hyuga Shin.

"Hyuga Shin. Lord Danzo requests your presence." The emotionless voice carried to Hyuga Shin's ears.

At the mention of Danzo, Hyuga Shin's expression grew even colder. He had no good feelings toward Danzo.

Danzo was always claiming to act for Konoha and putting himself on the moral high ground, yet he never did anything decent. He was the sort of man who wanted to have his cake and eat it too.

Whatever Danzo wanted with him, it definitely wasn't anything good. In that case, Hyuga Shin didn't mind making trouble for him.

"What comes next might be a little bloody. If you can't handle it, close your eyes," Hyuga Shin warned Mikoto and Kushina.

"So you refuse. Then I'll have to use force." Three Tomoe appeared in the Root shinobi's eyes as he stared coldly at Hyuga Shin.

"Sharingan? You're from the Uchiha Clan?" Hyuga Shin was taken aback. He hadn't expected Root to have someone from the Uchiha Clan. Then he smiled. "Good. That suits me just fine."

"Tenseigan: Puppet Manipulation!" In an instant, Hyuga Shin took control of the Uchiha Root shinobi.

The man became a puppet under Hyuga Shin's control, yet remained conscious. His thoughts and movements were all under Hyuga Shin's command.

This was essentially no different from Kotoamatsukami. The drawback was that it could only be used on someone weaker than oneself. Kotoamatsukami had the same limitation.

"Dig out your eyes," Hyuga Shin said coldly.

The puppet stiffened, then dug out his own eyes without hesitation.

Hyuga Shin nodded, took out Uchiha Akito's two Sharingan, and tossed them to the puppet.

"Put these eyes in, then attack the Third Hokage! Afterward, frame Danzo or the Uchiha."

"Yes!"

In the Naruto world, replacing someone's eyes wasn't too difficult, but it required Medical Ninjutsu, and this man didn't know any.
