He would need to be at Kage Level or possess the Mangekyō Sharingan before taking on the Land of Snow.

Another half a month passed in the blink of an eye.

Haruno Sakura had finished learning Medical Ninjutsu, and Su Yu had nothing more to teach her.

The Chunin Ninja Exams began as scheduled.

After hearing the news, Su Yu took the initiative to contact Yakushi Kabuto.

The two met in the hills behind Konoha.

Su Yu's status as an Anbu Chunin surprised Yakushi Kabuto a little.

"Senior Yakushi Kabuto, am I qualified to follow Lord Orochimaru now?" Su Yu asked, looking expectant.

"Su Yu, you're very talented and fully qualified to follow Lord Orochimaru. However, you don't need to leave Konoha just yet. There's one final test. Lord Orochimaru will personally assess your abilities." Yakushi Kabuto pushed up his glasses.

"Of course. I've already told Lord Orochimaru about you," Yakushi Kabuto said with a smile.

"Thank you, Senior Yakushi Kabuto." Su Yu bowed excitedly.

"Don't mention it. Once you pass the test, we can leave Konoha together after the Chunin Ninja Exams are over." Yakushi Kabuto smiled faintly.

Su Yu nodded.

"Well, I'll be going. Try to infiltrate the Anbu. You might come in handy during the Chunin Ninja Exams' final round." With that, Yakushi Kabuto vanished.

Su Yu watched the spot where he'd disappeared, then turned and headed for Uzuki Yugao's home.

Half an hour later.

Outside Uzuki Yugao's home.

Su Yu knocked on the door.

A short while later,

the door opened.

Su Yu saw Uzuki Yugao wearing a bath towel.

"What is it?" Uzuki Yugao asked.

"Teacher Uzuki Yugao, I've learned those ninjutsu. I've also mastered Medical Ninjutsu and Sealing Jutsu. I heard the Chunin Ninja Exams are about to begin, and I'd like to take part." Su Yu looked Uzuki Yugao in the eye.

Uzuki Yugao wasn't surprised to hear this.

Given Su Yu's diligence, mastering ninjutsu, Medical Ninjutsu, and Sealing Jutsu in a month wasn't difficult.

She thought it over, then looked at Su Yu.

"Wait here. I'll take you to see Lord Hokage."

"Yes." Su Yu bowed.

Uzuki Yugao closed the door.

More than ten minutes later,

she opened it again, now dressed as an Anbu Ninja.

Uzuki Yugao reached out and took hold of Su Yu.

Su Yu didn't resist.

The next moment,

the two of them vanished.

Hokage Office.

The Third Hokage watched the Rasengan in Su Yu's hand and nodded with approval.

"Su Yu, you're very talented. Your parents would certainly be proud of you."

"Thank you for the praise." The Rasengan in Su Yu's hand disappeared.

"During the Chunin Ninja Exams, people from all the major ninja villages will come to Konoha. You'll observe them as a member of the Anbu Intelligence Division. If you notice anything unusual, report it to Uzuki Yugao immediately." The Third Hokage thought for a moment, then assigned Su Yu a mission.

"Yes." Su Yu lowered his head.

"Take Su Yu to the Anbu and have him collect his equipment," the Third Hokage said to Uzuki Yugao.

"Yes." Uzuki Yugao bowed.

The two left the Hokage Office.

The Anbu didn't operate in the open.

Uzuki Yugao led Su Yu through a narrow alley to a room and knocked on the door.

A few seconds later,

the door opened.

An Anbu member wearing a mask looked at Uzuki Yugao and Su Yu.

"He's a new recruit who just passed the assessment. He's here to collect his equipment," Uzuki Yugao explained briefly.

The masked Anbu member nodded and stepped aside.

Uzuki Yugao and Su Yu entered the room.

Anbu equipment was naturally different from that of ordinary ninjas. Every mask was custom-made. Su Yu received a Cat Mask and a set of Anbu gear.

It included light armor, arm guards, a Ninja Blade, and a cloak.

Su Yu put on the mask and looked at himself in the mirror.

Uzuki Yugao watched Su Yu, her expression complicated.

She didn't know whether letting Su Yu join the Anbu had been the right choice.
