Su Yu left the compound of the Hyuga Clan.

He arrived at the residence of Yakushi Kabuto and knocked on the door.

Su Yu began to focus on eating his dinner.

Hinata Hyuga snuck a glance at him, and seeing the smile on Su Yu's face, she felt a sweet warmth in her heart.

After dinner.

Hinata Hyuga began to clear the dishes.

Su Yu headed toward the bathroom.

Having finished cleaning up, Hinata Hyuga went to Su Yu's room and waited for him in silence.

Before she left, Hyuga Hiashi had told her that she did not need to return home tonight.

This left her feeling both shy and expectant.

Less than half an hour passed.

The sound of footsteps approached.

Hinata Hyuga lowered her small head, her heart racing.

Su Yu walked to the bedside, picked up a bag, and placed it in front of Hinata Hyuga.

"This is a yukata I bought for you. Go and try it on."

She then stood up, took the bag, and walked toward the bathroom.

Su Yu poured a cup of hot tea and gazed at the twinkling stars outside.

A long while passed.

She was wearing a pure white yukata adorned with cherry blossoms, her flushed little face looking incredibly adorable.

"It's about time to rest." Su Yu stood up and closed the door.

Hinata Hyuga pulled back the covers, glanced at Su Yu as he prepared to turn off the lights, and slipped into the bed.

Su Yu smiled and switched off the light.

He walked to the other side of the bed, lifted a corner of the quilt, and climbed in.

Once he had settled down, the room fell instantly silent.

In such a quiet space.

For a moment, only the sound of their two heartbeats remained.

Hinata Hyuga's heart was beating very fast; it was clear she was nervous, shy, and perhaps even a little expectant.

Su Yu reached out and slowly took hold of Hinata Hyuga's small hand.

"Get some rest, don't overthink things. I won't bully you."

As soon as these words were spoken, Hinata Hyuga's face burned.

"Mm."

Her voice was very soft.

Morning arrived.

Sunlight spilled into the living room.

Su Yu had woken up early and prepared breakfast for two.
