Danzo Must Die

In front of the freezer.

Tsunade stared at the ice kunai slowly taking shape in Su Yu's hand, her face full of disbelief.

"You... How did you do that?" She stared intently at Su Yu.

"First, I built an ice cellar. Then, after several days of experiencing the cold firsthand, I gradually mastered the changes in Wind and Water chakra and began combining them. In the end, I obtained Ice Release chakra.

"Based on my judgment, to obtain Ice Release chakra, you have to master the changes in Wind and Water chakra—that is, train in S-rank Wind and Water jutsu. That's the most basic requirement.

Most of the researchers, including Tsunade, had assumed that Kekkei Genkai existed only in one's bloodline.

Tsunade realized that she and all the other researchers had been going in the wrong direction.

"Is that true?" Tsunade's eyes lit up.

"That would require research funding." Su Yu met Tsunade's gaze.

"How much?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow, realizing Su Yu was taking the opportunity to ask for money.

"The more, the better. Besides, I'll need two assistants," Su Yu said calmly.

"Two assistants? One of them is that young lady from the Hyuga Clan, right?" Tsunade joked.

Su Yu nodded without denying it.

"Since this scroll is so valuable, I'll give you the funding and the people. Tell me, who do you want as your second assistant?" Tsunade hesitated before asking.

"Mitaraishi Anko," Su Yu replied.

"Orochimaru's student?" Tsunade looked at Su Yu.

"I'm on Konoha's side." Su Yu looked back at Tsunade.

They stared at each other for more than ten seconds.

"I trust you, Su Yu. You can make contact with Orochimaru when appropriate and get useful information from him. And as for Uchiha Sasuke..."

"You should know that Uchiha Sasuke won't return to Konoha," Su Yu interrupted.

"I know, but Naruto won't give up on Uchiha Sasuke." There was a hint of worry in Tsunade's eyes.

"I've already obtained the Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu from Sage Katsuyu," Su Yu said after a moment's silence.

"You want to become a Jinchuriki?" Tsunade was taken aback.

"Not me. There's a girl from the Uzumaki Clan with me who's qualified to become one. She used to be a Kusagakure ninja. I met her during the Chunin Ninja Exams. I asked Orochimaru's people to rescue her, then arranged for her to stay in the Land of Waves." Su Yu shook his head.

Tsunade's heart stirred at his words.

"Karin Uzumaki has had a hard life. All she needs is a little kindness from you, Lady Tsunade, and you'll have a well-behaved Nine-Tails Jinchuriki who'll listen to you. And if Naruto could be freed from the Nine-Tails, he'd surely be glad." Su Yu spoke softly.

"Danzo must die."

"That condition..."

"If I can't get revenge, what meaning does all my hard work have?" Su Yu interrupted her.

"You... Let me think it over." Tsunade looked at Su Yu, troubled.

"No matter what you decide, I'll strike at him if I get the chance. Once I reach Kage Level, no one will be able to save Danzo. Lady Tsunade, I have no ambitions. Even if I never become Hokage, I'll still avenge my parents," Su Yu said seriously.

Tsunade opened her mouth, then closed it again, at a loss.

Her investigation had turned up nothing, but there was something strange about Su Yu's parents' deaths.

Su Yu must have had good reason to discover that Danzo was responsible.

In truth, Tsunade didn't want to stop him.

But without Danzo, Konoha would lose some of its leverage against other villages.

Danzo's presence made the other ninja villages wary. That was why the Third Hokage had tolerated him.

When Su Yu and Tsunade arrived at the Hokage Office,

Temari was sitting on the sofa, drinking hot tea.
