Background / History

Born the young master of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Yu Xiaogang possessed only half a level of innate soul power after his martial soul mutated into a Pig. His father supplied extensive resources in an effort to support his cultivation, but Xiaogang ultimately left home after failing to progress and fearing further resentment from the clan. 8

In Martial Soul City, he deliberately investigated and approached the Saintess Bibi Dong in order to access the confidential fourth- and fifth-floor archives of the Martial Soul Hall library. With the information he acquired, he compiled and published the Ten Core Competencies of Martial Soul, gaining recognition as the “Grandmaster” despite the material having originated from Martial Soul Hall records. 8 9 55

After leaving Bibi Dong, Xiaogang formed a relationship with Liu Erlong. He knew from the beginning that she was his cousin and deliberately concealed it, using her powerful mutated Fire Dragon martial soul as research material for martial soul mutation.
