Background / History

Gu Yuena had remained in hiding while healing injuries inflicted by the Asura God's power. As the Silver Dragon King and a sovereign of the Soul Beast clan, she carried resentment toward humans and resisted submitting to Su Mo, but recognized that he could purge the divine power hindering her recovery. 207 214

At Su Mo's command, she retrieved a human-head-sized piece of Life Gold, a translucent crystal-metal treasure containing immense life energy. Though visibly unwilling, she handed it over and agreed to leave the Star Dou Great Forest with him. 207

Gu Yuena was also ordered to bring the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, the Emperor Auspicious Beast. She was alarmed that Su Mo knew of the beast, whose existence Di Tian had concealed, but accepted his assurance that he would not harm it. 207

After Su Mo inherited the Asura God's position, Gu Yuena accompanied him to Martial Soul City.
